Callaroga Shark Media. Hi am Welcome to Entertainment Daily, a short round up of the top entertainment stories in today's news. Obert Scoby has refuted claims that he identified the so called royal racist in his latest book, End Again, after a supposed mistake in the Dutch edition mistakenly attributed a name to Megan Markle's accusations. The Daily Mail reports in the English version, mister Scoby says he knows the names of both individuals, but laws in the United Kingdom prevent me from reporting who they were. The same sentence is in the Italian edition. However, a page taken from a review copy of the book sent to Dutch journalists this week clearly points the finger at a senior royal, referring to the letters discussing the issue. It reads dramatically, but in those private letters an identity was veiled and confirmed. The male has redacted the name concerned and will not be repeating it here. At Pallace Intrigue. We have not seen the Dutch book, nor do we speak Dutch, but we are seeing many suggestions that it is a very senior royal. Scoby attributed the inclusion of a name. In the Dutch version of his book to a translation error. Speaking on RTL Boulevard, a Dutch talk show, he explained, the book is in several languages and unfortunately I do not speak Dutch, but if there are translation errors, I'm sure the publishers will have it under control. I wrote and edited the English version. There's never been a version that I've produced that has names in it. The Dutch publishers Xander have temporarily halted sales of Endgames, citing an error in the translation. The statement from Xander read, we are temporarily withdrawing the book by Omit Scoby from sale. An error occurred in the Dutch translation and is currently being rectified. These allegations traced back to a twenty twenty one interview Megan Michael had with Oprah Winfrey, where she suggested that there were concerns with the royal family about the potential skin color of her and Prince Harry's son. As a result, sales of Endgame have been suspended in the Netherlands, a move confirmed by the publishers Xander. They stated they have received a last minute request from the US to halt sales pending further instructions. Taylor Swift penned an emotional Instagram message to fans, thanking them for their devotion as she celebrated the end of the twenty twenty three Eras tour. Swift kicked off her six headlining tour in March with a North American leg that saw her perform fifty three concerts in eighteen states before heading south of the border for it sold out shows in Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil. It wrapped over the weekend with back to back shows in South Pallo after tragedy struck the week prior, when a twenty three year old fan died at the first of her three concerts in Rio amid a massive heat wave. Swift will spend most of twenty twenty four performing overseas before concluding the tour with newly added dates in the US in November. Bringing a tour to Brazil has been something I've dreamt of for years, and those fans blew my expectations away. We've officially wrapped up the twenty twenty three Eras tour and we got to end of the year with six shows in Rio and Sapaoo were the most magical crowds I'm so grateful to my touring family, my band crew and dances for everything they put into the show all year. To the people who came to see it. You are what made those stadiums feel so alive and electric and unforgettable. For me, really just feeling so proud of move by what I got to be a part of. See you in twenty twenty four, she concluded. She shared a slide show of some of her favorite photos taking during the tour, many of which showcase her incredible costumes and elaborate sets. It seems that a Barbie Movie sequel might not happen anytime soon, if at all, but the film's director, Greta Gerwig, isn't completely ruling it out. I mean, at the moment, we are at zero, Gerwig told Entertainment Tonight on the Gotham Awards red carpet on Monday. When asked if a sequel is in the works, the Oscar nominated director went on to admit that she's tapped out at the moment, but stopped short of giving a hard no to a potential sequel. Life is long, she added, you never know. Margaret Robbie, who produced the film and start as the iconic matel Doll also weighed in on the buzz surrounding another Barbie movie, telling the Associated Press earlier this month that they put everything into this one. We didn't build it to be a trilogy or something, Robbie said, adding credit, put everything into this movie, so I can't imagine what would be next. Barbie stars Robbie in the titular role alongside Ryan Goslin's Ken, and follows Barbie as she works through an existential crisis in Barbie Land. It comes as no surprise moviego as far and wide would be excited at the prospect of an encore, given how massively successful the Barbie movie was when it premiered in July. The summer blockbuster raked in a remarkable one point oh three billion dollars at the global box office within a few weeks of its release. Mike Sorrentino says he was once a young and wi old, careless kid with a powerful addiction problem. The reality star known as the Situation from his days on the hit MTV show Jersey Shore, talk to Entertainment Tonight as he promotes his memoir Reality Check. Making the best of the Situation. Sorrentino said, The success of Jersey Shaw led him to being flushed with cash, which fed his substance abuse. Once you give kids millions of dollars and ferraris and lambows and girls screaming by name and yes men everywhere, it was hard to turn that off. That was my problem for many years. How do you turn off the excess, he told the outlet. And I think it wasn't just my problem. Most people in our world, or in the celebrity world, or in the entertainment world, they have a problem turning off the excess button. The fame and money also gave him access to just about any drug he wanted. He now says, I was into everything. I had everything on me at all times in my Louis Vuitton bag, everything from a couple hundred rocks a set, which are thirty milligrams oxy cooder, and then I'd have probably one hundred and fifty percocets on me, which are ten milligrams oxycodon and Sarrentino told et, then I would have about one hundred zanex on me, a hundred million. If I wasn't traveling on a plane, maybe I would have some weed and cocaine as well, because I knew that if I traveled on a plane, not a good idea to try and go through security with cocaine and weed on you. He estimates he spent five hundred thousand dollars on drugs and a great deal of time figuring out how to hide his drugs during filming and his addiction from MTV producers. When you think of that number, when you hear that number, that's a good college fund right there. He said, I got to just be accountable and be like, yeah, that happened. I was wild, I was careless. Sorrentino will celebrate eight years of sobriety December. Or Entertainment just a moment. John Travolta says a near death experience he had while piloting a plane in nineteen ninety two inspired him to take on his role in the new Disney Plus short film The Shepherd. The Shepherd tells the story of a young pilot attempting to land safely after experiencing electrical failure of mid air. The premise is eerily similar to what travolter, a licensed pilot, said he experienced back in nineteen ninety two. Recalling the incident during a Q and A in London on Thursday. According to Variety, Travolter shared that he experienced a total electrical failure in a jet that he was piloting while over Washington, d C. With his family. I knew what it felt like to absolutely think you're going to die, he said. I had two good jet engines, but I had no instruments, no electric, nothing, and I thought it was over. He ultimately made a safe landing, as if by miracle, he said. That's why Travolta was drawn to The Shepherd, which is based on Frederic Forsyth's nineteen seventy five book of the same name. In the short film, Travolta plays a good samaritan who guides a young pilot, Ben Radcliffe, to safety after he finds himself in peril when his radio and electric power cut out, leaving him stranded and running on limited fuel. According to an official synopsis, Travolta said Radcliffe captured that despair when you think you're actually going to die. The pulp fiction actor said the story of The Shepherd deeply resonated with him because it's about life and death and how precious life is. The Shepherd will be available to stream on Disney Plus. On December first, Timothy Chalomey was praised for his charming, pitch perfect performance as Willy Wonka by critics finally permitted to share their early opinions of the surprisingly good origin tale via x hashtag Wonker is a super charming delight powered by an exceptional and pitch perfect performance from Timothy Chalomey. Collide At Senior producer Perry Nemorov wrote, it can get quite silly, and there's a few plot points that are a tad on the thin side, but that couldn't stop such an impossible, sweet film with a hefty and very effective dose of sincerity from warming my heart Becausemoto Senior reporter Jamie mean Lassier wrote that the twenty seven year old Oscar nominee was reason alone to see Paul King's one hundred and twenty five million dollar budget musical fantasy. He's definitely charming in a blast to watch. The movie around him isn't as good, but it's enjoyable. The story and tone fight against each other, leaving it a bit muddled, and yet it's filled with joy and the songs are delightful.
