Mercury After Dental Work
SPEAKER_01 0:00

Part of the problem is you got the fillings out, but you never got the mercury out of your brain. Functional doctors that are trying to detox these people while these metals are still in their mouth. That's the perfect thing because now it just jumps right into your vascular system all around the body.

Dr Pompa 0:20

They recognize the fact that bacteria in the mouth can cause heart attacks and heart problems. These metals are accumulated, toxins are accumulated at the cellular level. It is a process. It's years, not months.

SPEAKER_01 0:35

We're the only profession in the world that keeps a dead organ in the body.

Why Dentists And Detox Doctors Must Team Up
Dr Pompa 0:41

Live from Cannes, France, with Dr. Glenn McFarland. Thank you for being here, man. Appreciate it. Yeah, absolutely. You heard me speak at one of the seminars uh recently, and you said something right away. Wait, hold on. We need to be working closer together because we're taking out toxicity out of the mouth, and but it's still being stored in the body and the cells, and you have to get it out of the cells. That's what you do. How do we work closer together? I'm like, finally, someone asked the right question. Right. Yeah. And you know what it is?

SPEAKER_01 1:10

Because hold that up just when I work with these groups and they've been seeing these people for a couple of years. Yeah. Also they're like, maybe I should send them to McFarland down here and see what's going on. And they also you do all the diagnostic stuff and you find cavitations and you're finding root canals that are failing. You're finding mercury fillings, you find all these different stuff. And I'm saying, don't you understand? You're like kicking it, you're just following the tail of the dog. Yeah. You're not really doing anything for this person. And they're getting frustrated, and they're spending all their money. Yeah. And the thing is, but what I always get from the other ones is, well, if they don't give them me their money, they're going to be giving it to you. And I try to say, listen, that's not a good way of looking at it. Yeah, no, no. Okay. We need to look at it. You know, I'll do all my diagnostics. You do all your diagnostics. There's going to be that in-between. So I got to take care of something. Now also when we get to that in-between, let's start working together. Yeah. Let's get them on the IVs. Let's get them on the supplementation. Let's get them on the different stuff. And then all of a sudden, now it'll be you taking care of them, going

Fillings Out Does Not Mean Mercury Out
SPEAKER_01 2:11

down the road.

Dr Pompa 2:11

Look, you can take silver fillings out, but ultimately it turned the vape mercury vapor off the silver filling turned to inorganic mercury and it's stored in the brain. It has a half-life longer than people live. Okay. So what are you doing about that? I hear all the time, I got my fillings out. I'm like, yeah, and that's part of the problem, is you got the fillings out, but you never got the mercury out of your brain. You recognize that, you know, because it's like you see it, right? It's like some people, I mean, we've talked about the miracles. People get something out, they get the infection out. Boom, miraculous turnaround. But a lot of that stuff is still accumulated in the tissue.

SPEAKER_01 2:45

Well, a lot of things too. First of all, a lot of them have not had it taken out by somebody who knows that that's a good thing. That's problem number two. Right? Then they got then they got all the mercury that's been in there all along. What's it been doing to the nerves and how you do it? Absolutely. Then three, you got you got some doctors that functional doctors that are trying to detox these people while these metals are still in their mouth. It's a disaster.

Dr Pompa 3:06

And let me let me tell you something else. Again, I I I love dentistry. I'm the number one referral to biological dentists, but they dabble in detox and it drives me insane. Okay. It's like be the expert that y'all are, you know, in dentistry and let me do my part that I've you know taught for 20 years on how to do. Reason, it's not so simple to give people corella on the way out the door and think you've done good. And, you know, I'm glad we're not, you know, you're not afraid to have the conversation. You know, and it's not so simple to say, here's the detox shake on the way out the door and you know, pat yourself on the back and think you've done that person good. It's not like that. These metals are accumulated, toxins are accumulated at the cell level, and it is a process. It's years, not months to get into it.

SPEAKER_01 3:54

This is what I love about you and all the things that I've learned about it. You and stuff like that. You go right down to the main thing, the cell. The cell is the one. It's got the gateway, it's got the in, and it's got the out. It's got the it's got everything that you need in your body in one little place, and there's multiple, multiple, multiple, and it's not going to take, like you said, a little shake or a little chlorella or this stuff. You got to go in here and you got to re-reprogram these cells.

Houston Seminar Invitation And Testing
Dr Pompa 4:19

Join me live in Houston in October 16th through the 18th. First time ever, doing a public seminar for 20 years doing doctor seminars. That's why I'm really excited about this. Look, for my followers, people looking for an answer, want to know more about mold illness, want to know more about heavy metal toxicity, want to know more about hormone conditions, thyroid conditions, and even find what's wrong with you. Well, that's what we're doing at the seminar. Oh, yeah, you're gonna take the very tests, something called a visual contrast sensitivity that can look for something called biotoxic illness. You're gonna fill out our AI version of our neurotoxic assessment that all my doctors use. Okay, because we're going to involve you in the discovery. Why? Because people are looking for answers. So I said, if I'm doing a seminar, I want people to experience what I do, what I've been teaching. And look, of course, we're gonna have amazing teachers. We're gonna have breakouts on these topics, right? You're gonna hear breakouts about weight loss resistance, health in children. You're gonna hear breakouts about mold, how to build homes safely, what you need to do in your home to make it safe. We're gonna be blowing the lid off of some of these topics that really nobody's talking about is causative factors for why so many people are sick. I'm gonna put a link below. All the details are there. But it is October 16th through the 18th in Houston. People are flying in from all over the world. So can you. Look, you want answers? Uh answers that you're never gonna hear at another seminar. Come to this one. You're gonna be blown away. Check

Reactivating Cellular Detox Pathways
Dr Pompa 5:52

it out. You got to get the cells working again. Every cell has a detox detox pathways. And when someone has been hit with the level of toxicity that comes from the oral cavity, whether infection, the heavy metals, all the metals that you know, all the plastics, everything, the cells literally wear down their ability to get rid of toxins and it builds up. And there is a process to reactivate the cell to start detoxing again. And that's just one part of my process: getting the cell upregulated, then using chelators and binders so you don't reabsorb and retarget.

SPEAKER_01 6:26

One of the things I've always hated about dentistry, we've always been the ones that if it's not hurting you, don't worry about it. Yeah, yeah. But it can be a man and go, well, Doc, it's not bothering me, it's not whatever. And then I come up with that term, the silent assassins, because there's different silent assassins. There's toxic silent assassins, there's bacterial toxics. Yeah. And we're doing all these damage. And by the time that you have a symptom, you're already past that point where and convention is always worth a pound of cure. Yeah. If you're coming in and I'm finding a problem right now, let's get rid of it. Let's get it done. Because what are you gonna wait? Do you have diabetes? You're gonna wait till you get a heart attack or or or a stroke, or have all these other things that can happen from the oral cavity. People just don't understand

Oral Infection Drives Whole-Body Disease
SPEAKER_01 7:07

that.

Dr Pompa 7:07

Well, you know, in the scientific literature, uh, you know, especially most doctors watching this, they recognize the fact that bacteria in the mouth can cause heart attacks and, you know, heart problems. But that's just one organ system that it affects. It affects the whole body. You know, and I I think I hope people are wising up to that fact that infection here causes inflammation throughout the body and causes more than just heart attacks. It can cause arthritis, aches, pains, rheumatoid. You name it autoimmune. Every bit of it we've seen clear up when we clear this up.

SPEAKER_01 7:39

Well, we got it, besides dentists being there, bit the bad guys, that's the first ones we got to correct. We got to correct the insurance companies because you know what it is? People are coming out there and they're thinking about, okay, what's my insurance gonna take care of? What is your so you got it's like education, education, education. I'm learning that in the and starting from from the phone call to on for life, got to keep educating people. You do, you know, all these other things.

Dr Pompa 8:04

Well, we ran into that in the chiropractic world. You know, it's like, look, people would go to Carbon when they hurt, and we're saying, look, uh misalignments, structural problems affect the nerve system. And you have those misalignments far before you have pain. Well, insurance companies never like that because they're like, oh no, no, we're all gonna pay for a pain incident, right? And you know, chiropractors that were truly understanding the the philosophy of chiropractor realize that you know, we we have to fix things before they actually cause the pain. But insurance became a problem. So we were just we had to always charge cash to people. Uh, you know, dentistry's a little better than that. I mean, because you at least can say here's infection.

SPEAKER_01 8:44

I happen to have uh a few chiropractors used to work with. I used to do, you know, motor vehicle accidents and stuff like that. But then I learned how they're between them and the lawyers, they just destroyed the system, made everybody who was a good guy like you, you know, have people say chiropractors are a joke.

SPEAKER_02 9:03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01 9:04

And it's sad because I'm seeing so many chiropractors now getting involved in that functional medicine group. And you get, you know, you're one of them. And I know a couple others, but they need to get away from that stigma of these doctors that are just okay, you're gonna have to get paid 10 visits for the insurance company, we're gonna do 10 visits.

Dr Pompa 9:24

Yeah, exactly. I I I went all cash when I was and I focused on structure because I was focused on fixing your structure. I didn't care about, you know, your back pain. Well, it it's because your structure's wrong. Let's fix that, you know. But I was good at educating people, you know, and that's what it really took.

From Cosmetic Dentistry To Biological Practice
Dr Pompa 9:40

But what's your specialty, man? I mean, what what is your your Well my general dentist?

SPEAKER_01 9:44

When I when I was in dental school, actually I didn't know whether I wanted to go into medicine or dentistry. I was into beauty, I was into things that look nice. I was into cameras and taking pictures and stuff. And as I started realizing the pictures, I say, all right, am I gonna be the plastic surgeon or I gotta go for dentistry? What am I gonna do? And all of a sudden I realized it's always about the smile. That most of the things that people did, but they smiled. So while I was in dental school, I reached out to the lab techs and all these people that were doing new wave dentistry back in the early 80s. So it was still taboo out there, you know, putting porcelain on people's teeth. You still had to use metals and all these other things. But I learned so when I got out of dental school, I started doing dentistry that was pleasing. I called it pleasing that I called it porcelain orthodontics. So uh that so you were a cosmetic, I mean well, the problem with cosmetic is that it never made it into a specialty. So anybody could slap that up on their on their wall. The issue that I had was people wanted everything yesterday. So if you wanted to give them that beautiful smile, that wasn't gonna happen it wasn't gonna happen if you white their teeth, it wasn't gonna happen if even if you fix their teeth. They wanted those teeth right from the beginning. The problem is the teeth weren't in the right positions. Yeah, yeah. So you're grinding the hell out of these teeth, you're making them look beautiful, and now you're giving them 40, 50 years worth of problems that you're gonna have down the road. You're gonna have failures, you're gonna have pro So I said, and they're giving them more root canals, you're giving them more periodontal problems, more root canals and more periodontal problems. I said, You're you're we're causing more issues than anything else. We should be doing things more conservatively. So that's why I said I started. So I went from not using any metals or mercury and like that and get and using beautiful porcelain to, hey, let's start doing it more conservative. Let's start let me find out also why my root canals aren't working out. I went back to the guys who were specialists in root canals. Those are the worst ones to go back to because they're gonna tell you all the reasons why the root canals are good.

SPEAKER_02 11:50

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01 11:50

Then all of a sudden they say, well, why don't you go check out some of the hacks? Why talk to some of the hacks? And I'm like, wait a minute, these guys got something on the boil. You know, they may be quacks, hacks pull, whatever you want to call them, but they're about root cause. They're about that tooth has four miles worth of tubules in it that aren't being cleaned every time you do a root canal.

Dr Pompa 12:08

Speaking about a root canal, yeah, exactly. Meaning, so kind of explain that. So, anyways, but before I get there, biological dentistry. So you backed in, you know, to it. Most people have their own story of how they got sick.

SPEAKER_01 12:20

Well, that was the whole point. It was yeah, it was cosmetic, but it was also not using certain things that were in holistic. My kids were the ones that actually said, Dad, you know, you're actually doing holistic dentistry if you're doing these things. I was afraid of the word holistic because it had so many different uh connotations. Especially, you know, people walking in, they were talking about holistics, they start talking about RIK, they start talking about these things. I said, I just want to do focus on dentistry. But it wasn't a great keyword uh out there in um, you know, for you to bring patients in. You put biological out there, you put functional, put out no, everybody was a holistic dentist near me. Then once they got them in the door, then I had to educate them on what really what holistics is. It's all about being functional, it's all about being root caused, it's all about working with MDs and you know, DCs like yourself and whatever, and and and solving the problem and not just being an etiologist, I mean, excuse me, a symptomatologist being an etiologist, find that root cause. Let's get that root cause thunder. Let's pick it up.

Why Root Canals Become Bacterial Condos
Dr Pompa 13:26

Yeah, that's that's been my criticism of even functional medicine right now. I feel like functional medicine, alternative medicine is moving away from getting to the root cause into more fancy tests, genetic tests, a lot of things. But getting to the cause, this is a causative factor of why people are so many people are sick, you know. And um uh more and more dentists are coming around, I hope, I think. More people are coming around. That's why I'm doing these shows to get people to wise up that this can be and most likely is a cause of my own.

SPEAKER_01 13:56

I got a lot of quasi, as I call them. They say the word holistic, but then they're gonna they're gonna they're gonna try to poke somebody into a holistic root canal. Now, if you did everything wonderful at that initial visit, cleaned it out, hit it with the laser, did all these different things, got them out of pain, got a nice seal on the end of that root canal, what's gonna happen a month down the road, or two months down the road, or three months down the road, the bacteria realize, hey, that tooth can't defend itself anymore. Now I'm just gonna invade it. So I start calling teeth bacterial condominiums.

Dr Pompa 14:27

Yeah. That's what it is. Exactly. You know, kind of explain that to people why root canals don't work. Even the best, a perfect done root canal, like you said, laser, ozone, everything. There's these microtubules.

SPEAKER_01 14:40

Explain that to them because many people say, well, this one doesn't bother me. Well, they also had another thing, too. We used to learn if you pack it a certain way, you'll get the cement and all stuff to go into those tubules. But I was told when they do semi-sections on these teeth, that if you added all those tubules together, you'd have four miles of tubules in one tooth. I know. And I'm like, how the heck do you clean all that?

Dr Pompa 15:01

Yeah, you can't. That's why. Even the ozone gas, you know, they did that for a while. But many biological dentists uh were doing the ozone, and they realized that it didn't work either.

SPEAKER_01 15:12

Yeah, well, I got patients that come in and say, Doc, could you hit it with ozone? Ozone's almost like an antibiotic. Yeah. It's going to be a band-aid. Right. But I mean, ozone has its place in dentistry. Yes. Where doing restorations, you want to clean that out, you want to hit it with ozone and stuff like that. But when it comes to root canals, I got to agree. It was it was Judson Wall who's part of this whole group of people. Yeah, yeah.

Dr Pompa 15:32

He's from Utah, yeah. Right.

SPEAKER_01 15:33

And he's if it's dead, it's out of the head.

Dr Pompa 15:36

Well, so that's the thing, is there's an argument if you possibly could get it all out, all the bacteria, um, it's still a dead tissue in the mouth.

SPEAKER_01 15:46

We're the only profession in the world that keeps a dead organ. Yes. It's an organ. It's an organ.

Dr Pompa 15:52

Keeps a dead organ in the body. Yeah, and that is problematic in itself, and the immune system does not like it. And it drives inflammatory process throughout the body. So not a good idea.

SPEAKER_01 16:03

Then you got all the garbage that they put into it. I I just, you know what it is? It's just that I I I've gotten so far away from the way I would learn things in dental school. I was always asking why. Why? Why? And I can't, nobody would give me an answer. And then I realized that, you know, it's always go back to the root cause. Yeah. Let's go back to where the problem is. A tooth that's dead is dead. You cannot all students taking up space, but it's causing all those, all those silent buggers and everything else that's going on. Yeah. They're the ones that are doing all the damage in

Testing Pathogens And Parasites In Teeth
SPEAKER_01 16:34

the body.

Dr Pompa 16:34

Well, and I think with the the testing from you know, DNA testing, uh, looking for pathogens, we're able to test these things now. And I think that wises Dennis up in the sense of like, wow, look at these anaerobic bacteria. Parasites. Uh Dr. J showed us a picture of a parasite this long, he pulled out of, and this is recently. Yeah, did you see that? Like, I mean, and of course I've known the small, the little parasites um exist, but to see that big thing in there, that was pretty shocking. And so many people are trying to get rid of the Lyme disease, the parasites, and it's in its their safe haven is in here.

SPEAKER_01 17:11

Well, especially if you have some, again, if it's dead, the body can't do anything with it. So it goes there and it sits there and then just jumps. If your ligament, the periodontal ligament is alive. If it's clean and it's alive and you got a dead tooth, that's the perfect thing because now it just jumps right into your vascular system all around the body. Bingo,

Where To Find Dr Glenn McFarland
SPEAKER_01 17:30

yeah.

Dr Pompa 17:30

Where do they find you, man? Where do they find you more? How do people find you? Where do they find me?

SPEAKER_01 17:35

Yeah. Uh which now we're going, we're doing a big thing right now. We're uh we're we're redoing our whole website. We're gonna have all kinds of video brochures on there about everything, so they can actually go on and um uh and find me at you know at www.glenmcfarlane.com. They can find me on on on Instagram and Facebook. Uh all the all the uh the biological websites. Websites and and and and and and groups I'm all part of. All these guys, a lot of you guys are all I'm all friends with them. We all do this. Give me your website one more time, but slower. www.drglenmacfarlane.com. It's Glenn with two N's, and it's M A C F A R L A N E. That's what I wanted right there. Where do you practice?

Dr Pompa 18:21

Red Bank, New Jersey. You said that, but I wanted you to say it again. Dr. Glenn, thank you for taking time. Absolutely appreciate you.
