I think this is a breakthrough. It's gonna improve cellular energy. It's obviously affecting the mitochondria. It's gonna improve circulation. Yes, you're still affecting the skin in a big way.

One thing, dealing with class four, I would say even in red light, wear glasses. Don't be staring into the beams. Many podcasters say just look into it, it calms your eyes. I wouldn't do that.

This blows away every bed. I can't tell you how many people approach me with different beds, right? And I'm always like, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's like I don't get involved. I have to say I'm a little interested because this is a whole nother technology.

Live from Cannes, France. Oh, this topic. You're gonna love it. You've heard about all the craze, right? The red light therapy. Which one do I buy? What frequency? Some are good, some are bad. We're gonna make it all make sense for you. We're gonna tell you exactly which ones you want, which ones you don't want. I am here with Richard Albright, Dr. Richard Albright, you're gonna make sense of this for us, right? But you brought something new. You're gonna talk about a class four laser bed, which is not red light therapy. Am I right on that?

Okay, but before we get there, because that's that's the newest of the new, right? I want one. I mean, you know, and everyone's out there is gonna want one, but you know, make sense of the red light because not all red lights created
Why Most Red Lights Stay Shallow

equal. In in simplicity, I tell people, look, if the power's not there, if the watts aren't there, you're not really getting deep, you know, and all the benefits that they tout are really not there. You have to be careful what you buy. Am I right on that?

Yeah, you're absolutely correct. So so there's two philosophies. And then if we're talking a red light and just say class four laser, um, there there's a big difference. You have coherence and non-coherence. And red light is a non-coherent um uh wavelength, and which means it's just spreads out, scatter. It's like chaos, it's just all over the place, and so um, which then in terms that it can't really penetrate into the tissue like like someone might claim. Um, and so now when you get into class four or even even class three laser, you have the ability to it's more it's um it's more directional. Okay, and so it goes straight. Which they call coherence, coherence, correct. And so it's more directional, and then what happens there is now you can affect the mitochondria. And so that's the that's the big thing because a lot of these red light, they can't go that deep to affect that. And so the claims that are out there saying, yeah, you can do this deep inflammation or um or um you can help with uh arthritis. And so I would say mild. I mean, there there's there's biological effects for for red light, and it and mainly well, you're definitely affecting the skin. That's exactly what you are. So you're doing you that was where it first started, and that you know, and I'm and thanks to them, you know, I've been doing this for 25 years, 22 as as a company and three years practicing in class four. I took it before it was even approved, and in 2005, I was one of two people that got the first FDA clearance in class four laser. And so the so the big difference is you know, power. You gotta have the power. I've said it for years, yeah. Yeah, and so if you don't have power behind it, it's it's like even if we have the same wavelength, it's like a dripping faucet, drip, drip, drip, or turning the faucet on.

So when people buy their red leg bed, they'll say, hey, this is 660, or you know, I you know, whatever they're matching, right? Uh eight something or yeah.

So typically when so when LEDs, even if they're in infrared, they're still LEDs, and so they still have that scatter effect. So it's never going to be a true as a true laser because of the um the how the penetration we can get and affect that mitochondria, and uh which then converts to cytochrome C oxidase, which then converts to ATP, which is cellular health and energy. Yeah, and that's what everybody in this biohacking world is striving for.
Dr Pompa
And but they're all making the claim that their their red lights are affecting the the mitochondria, and therefore it's helping your energy, and right?
SPEAKER_00
Yes, they do. But you're saying very little, very little, very little. And uh um, but if you're going, if you have some temporary soreness, it's fairly good. If you're um it actually helps with mood, um, helps with uh um hair, you know, the red has been been stimulated, and there are FDA cleared um for stimulation of the hair follicle. Um, so so I'm not gonna poo-poo at all. Even in our new laser pod with class four, we we use three LEDs because we do want to still uh attack the the surface level of you know for for skin.

Okay, so yeah, so that that that makes sense. But again, just to kind of put that into a package, right? So the red lights for the face, some of those aren't even great. Uh, you know, they're very cheap, right? And so even those aren't power, you know, powerful enough really to impact even the skin. But you're saying so the better red lights are going not that deep, maybe two millimeters. Okay, wow, it's even less than I thought. Okay, yeah.

So yeah, so you know, and and you know, it's it's more I think the craze started more in the female with the face, you know, as we start aging, how can we promote more collagen? And then it turned into well, well, let's try this out the whole body. But and again, if you're treating skin on the whole body, it's that's good, but but a lot of times what a lot of these companies are, you know, are you you can get them on Amazon from ten dollars to you know ten thousand dollars.

But what about the person who buys a two thousand dollar um panel, the stand in front of, or you know, I mean again, it's it's whatever their um what are they wanting the effect to be? Yeah, you're not saying it's it's a waste of money completely. There's some benefits to it, yeah, yeah. But you're saying that they're overmarketing the effect on the mitochondria and the energy.

And the maybe and the deep pain levels are deep. I mean, I think you can get get um temporary, you might get temporary relief, but it but it's not because we we actually have a product line that has an LED bed, and we tell, you know, if you want temporary relief, okay, it it's it's good.
Dr Pompa
All right. And you're saying because again, it's the LED, it's it spreads out that energy, it's not direct enough to go deep enough.

So, you know, that's especially if you're if you're in the solid colors, right? Red, blue, um, you know, yellow. Okay. They just don't penetrate. Where the infrareds, the

invisible ones, are the ones that penetrate, but you still got to have the power behind it.

Yeah, I mean, and some of the beds have the uh near infrared.

They have they have near infrared.
Dr Pompa
Near infrared will penetrate more.

Well, but now you're dealing with still scatter, so you might be penetrating a little bit better with that. But again, what's the power behind it? Okay. In in laser, so in LED, they they measure it in irradiance, and they always say, Oh, the the higher the radiance, the better it is. And there's some some truth to that, but in laser, we measure we um measure it as watts, how many watts are in there? Yeah. So so, but if we were comparing an LED in general to a laser, you're talking five, 10 milliwatts of power, and we're dealing with anything from one watt to you know 60 watts, which is 60,000 milliwatts, um, or 40,000 milliwatts. But then there's a there's also a line there. You don't want to treat somebody with 60 watts of power, you know, in a handheld device, but you can spread that out in a in a pod that's that's you know, covering the whole entire body.

How A Class Four Laser Bed Works
Dr Pompa
So let me state it this way. I never put together red light to me was red lights, and you know, they have them in beds, they have them in stand-up units, right? Face things, you know, little red lights that you can use on a pain spot. Red lights, red lights, lasers, cold lasers, were something that you go to a typically a practitioner, yeah, and they're using a cold laser. That to me was a totally different energy, a totally different treatment. You know, but you're saying, hey, no, wait a minute. There's the new technology is using a laser bed.

Yes, now so we're the first in the world that ever came out with this. It's been about a two-year project because one thing, when you get into class four, there is a heat side effect. Okay. And so if you're using, say, a 25 millimeter wand and I'm treating at six or seven watts, and I'm and I leave it here on your wrist, in about 10 seconds, you're gonna say, Oh, you know, that that you gotta move that thing. And so with the handheld, and that's specifically its spot, we're treating this spot or target target area. So, so then how do you take a class four laser and put it in a bed? That's what I was gonna ask you without you know generating that type of heat. Well, that's where I leave it up for the engineers, right? Yeah, yeah. So now the technology was was there, and so we were able to because you can cone the beam so you can you can start it at small and widen the beam out, and so you're not gonna have that heat effect. In fact, in what we've been testing, but does it have the same power? Yes, because we have 60 watts coming from the top coming down, and probably time it starts pushing into this into the tissue, it would probably end that 40 watts. Um, so you're gonna lose some some mainly because it's going in. You have to go, you gotta get past the fascia, the fat, and then into the deeper um ligament, muscle, bone eventually, you know. Um, so as you can as you spread it out, we we purposely did 16 on top and 16 on bottom, so it covers every area of the body.

So this is a bed someone lays in. Yes, right, and which is nice. Um, and then they're getting the top and the bottom at the same time, front and back. And it is this class four laser, yes, dissipated, if you will, so it doesn't create heat.

Doesn't create heat, and then we also have a monitoring system on this that's that's like a sonar that will always monitor the temperature. Oh, um, and so anything that goes over 40 degrees Celsius, it actually has some AI tech technology to start lowering it. So, and
Depth, Presets, And Session Length

how deep does this go? Um, you know, it basically back in like 2007, I think we we took a cadaver and we put a oh like a sensor inside and measure and took the laser and and measured over that. And we were finding four to six inches is is typical. So you're doing that front and back though, four to six inches. Correct. And then you can lower on certain areas, like say in the face. Yeah, you don't want that much power on the face. So you can lower that. The cool thing is you could change all these different parameters on the bed. But we've done all the presets, so nobody really has to think about it.

So the this power, you're getting the mitochondria very stimulated, right?

How how long is the treatment? So 15 minutes. Um, just just because people want to be in there, could he could you do it sooner? Um, but if people are paying for a treatment, it's it feels in in in the you're selling these to practitioners, practitioners, and then we have opened it up to more of the high executive, high wealthy executive or um I want one, yeah.

You know, and I you know, I've trained a lot of doctors, I'm sure they're gonna want one too. So I mean, this is I mean, this blows away every bed. I can't tell you how many people approach me with different beds, right? And I'm always like, yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, it's like I don't get involved, right? You know, I have to say I'm a little interested because, you know, I mean, this is this is an a whole nother technology brought into like what we would get, people would go to practitioners, spend a lot of money getting laser done on a joint.

And and now we're finding it, you know, with having the bed, it's more of a systemic.
Dr Pompa
Yeah, exactly. That's what I'm saying. It's not just the elbow or shoulder, correct. And so that's the old conversation.

So, I mean, how long has this been used now?
SPEAKER_00
Um, so we've been working on it for two years. We've just started rolling it out last month. Okay. So we've got our first brand new first, yeah. You're hearing it here first. Yeah, we uh so we got our first nine that's already been purchased, and then we and then the orders will continue.

I mean, you've been at this a long time. What kind of results are you seeing? Like when someone lays this thing on for 15 minutes, you know, what are what are people saying?

So people, you know, it's so funny when you say that. Um, because a lot of them they'll get out and they just feel so relaxed. Like they're like everything is just, you know, all of a sudden they, if they were had stress coming into it, they get

out and they're like, I don't know, why was I even stressed? So so we know that, but here's the cool thing is um, and I just learned this like six months ago. I've been doing this for 25 years. It's called ever heard of the Zeta potential? Um, so the Zeta potential is your negative charge on your red blood cells, and when they're when they're fully charged and they carry good oxygen throughout the the body, um, nutrients, and then dump off any waste. And so, but when you have toxins or you have EMF exposure, you you you lose it, and then they come, they get stacked, and that stack is called a ro rouleau. Ruleau, yeah. Correct. And so we have a doctor um in Brazil. She was she brought it up, and I remember hearing about it back then, but I never really paid attention. And she, you know, she was her next I'll have to say her name, Dr. Anna Paula. Um, she's a maxillfacial dentist, and uh um, so she had taken she was doing surgery, she had taken the blood right there, and sure enough, it was all stacked. But then she lasered a handheld laser, a class four in that area, and within two minutes, put it back under the microscope, and it had the negative charge moving again. Yeah, so now you have a class four laser pod that is now affecting the whole, all the capillaries in the body. So you know, think of this as longevity or think of this what it's doing, and that's the exciting you know part of really what was happening and and not just dealing with just pain. Yeah, so no, no, no. So back to your question is like, how do they feel? Yeah, and I think it's they're so relaxed, our stuff is moving, and then then it continues to to leave. We had one guy um came in a couple weeks ago, and he's like, I'm gonna buy this thing if I but I I am in so much pain right now, and I and like, okay, that's a you know, wait, you can't just use that one visit, and uh so he got in it, he came to our office, laid in it, um, and then he had to fly out like within like 20 minutes afterwards, and so he was just in and out. He's driving and he's like, I don't know if this thing worked and stuff. The time he got to the airport, he's like, All right, there's something there. I don't know, I'm really tired all of a sudden. I've just because he was really relaxed. By the time he took off on the plane, he said, send me the purchase order.

No way, yeah.

I you know it's gonna improve energy cellular energy, it's obviously affecting the mitochondria, it's gonna improve circulation for every the reason you're you're saying, and I I guess you're still affecting the skin in a big way, it's yeah, because then we we'll still start off with uh you know a couple minutes of red and blue and and and um yellow for the skin.

So yeah, you're affecting you're affecting everything. Yeah, you know, and then but the one thing, you know, dealing with class four and even I would say even in red light, but you know, wear glasses. Yeah, you know, we have the the protective eyewear, don't be staring into the beams. Yeah, I mean, I've heard many podcasters say just look into it, it helps your eyes. Yeah, um, I wouldn't do that.

Well, yeah, I mean, it maybe a weaker red light, maybe, but it's I would for sure.
