But I think at the same time too, like it was, uh, it's the one that I have the most memory of because like we legitimately stayed up late to record it, and then we also watched it immediately after we were done recording it on the VHS.

Which is what the shark would have done if it had survived the Bahamas, what had full the whole planet to get back to Jersey. Yeah. No, Jaws the Revenge, it's just sheer pound for pound. It has so much amusing stuff and even when it makes no sense, it.

Jaws three has like probably the least amount. Yeah, yeah, I would agree with that, because you have the first attack of the guy at the gate, You've got the second attack with the two in the rowboat that they're trying to, like, I guess, steal Coral from SeaWorld if I remember correctly. Something there, trying to steal the kid from from Walking Dead from the Oh damn it Coral, not that Coral. Uh you got the one death that is the woman in the waiting pool. No, she just gets bit. So actually I think there's only like three or four deaths in that. Now help me out, though, If you get bit by a Jaws, huh, did you become a Jaws?

4:37 I think that I think that would only be viable option at that point. I know that if you get bit by a Dracula, you become a Dracula. That's how towns end up overrun, just like fifteen twenty draculas just running them up. Do you think, though, with our current CGI, that somebody could go back and fix Jaws three? You mean like the three D or the literal I mean the effects both. I mean you could absolutely. I mean like, do you think it would be better or does it just need to stay where it's at? I mean, you know there is a saying in Broadway don't fuck with a winner? Yeah, so yes, you could fix it. Now, I would love to actually, now that I have a new three D projector in new three D glasses, I would love to revisit it and see if the three D works better, because it worked really badly.

But also this new three D setup I have is much brighter. It's not as hard to watch in general, so it's a little bit more comfortable. Also, one thing I thought was smart was the glasses. I was like, man, they're so small, they barely cover my whole glasses. And then when I went to check my phone, I was like, oh shit, it's like bifocals, so I could actually see like the remote that's what I was looking for, the remote control. That's cool so well, because in the old ones I would always be like, like, look at what the play.

6:09 But you put the old glasses, you had, you put them on, and like you didn't see anything. Else except that screen, which I mean, I don't hate that. I mean that was awesome, but no, like I completely came around on Amityville three D after I finally saw it in three D. I've only seen the one time and it was on TV, so I didn't even get the full three D effect. Obviously, imagine crazy. I mean, I'll show it to you any time you want. Oh yeah, Ambityville three D is one of those where the effects I'm not saying they elevate, they don't elevate the story, you know, they don't elevate that stuff, but they really are, like it really amps up the fun of the film. We need to just binge your Amityville physical media because now that now that you have like legitimate copies, we could do another marathon.

Vinegar Syndrome put out the other sequels, because you have the shout that has one, two, and three, and then Vincent did Dollhouse. It's about time and. And then I believe because Ambityville Curse was not technically in that literal, but I consider it to be Cannon, but it's not literally Cannon. I have that one came out through another label, a Canadian label, so you had Evil Escapes and then I think you went and then Curse, then about It's about Time, and then next Generation or new Generation rather, Yeah, and then Dollhouse.

Body holds up because actually call back to the show Cole Pursuit when we did that episode a few weeks back. The main bad guy, Tom Bateman, he plays the the assassin in the Body and for those who are familiar. The Body is about an assassin that is trying to dispose of a recent hit that he's done, but it just so happens that it also took place on Halloween night, so he has to cross all these places in the city and go through all these Halloween parties and people think it's part of a costume. Yeah, which is really clever. Oh yeah, Well, so we'll do a rundown every week because this whole month we're doing episodes of. Into the Dark, were marching into the Dark.

Remember, But we discovered that on I think I found it on Hulu or I saw like an announcement about it. Puka was the first one we watched together. So what Into the Dark is is not your traditional horror anthology. There's no host, there's no common thread other than they're produced by Blumhouse, which has become which was at that time especially becoming just a total powerhouse. Oh yeah, and it's a new one every month, and while not always, often they are tied to that month, usually by a holiday.

13:30 Mostly season one. On a review, looking at season one, they had a lot of holiday ties. Season two they kind of went a little more loose with them. Well, you know, but but you'd get a Thanksgiving, you'd get a Christmas, you'd get a Halloween. But then from there they kind of but they also would do things like if it was in the summertime, it would be summertime at least, you know, so they were kind of they were playing with it. But it makes sense because like you know, the you could do Fourth of July again and again. Yeah, you could do Labor Day again and again, but maybe one is enough, you know, as opposed to like Christmas, where it's like there's so much material Thanksgiving, there's so much material. With for the July Uncle Sam already exists. You can't top perfection. I'm sorry, Yeah, I mean that that you're done.

It went for two years yea, which is twenty four future film. Yeah, we didn't miss a single one of them, like, we watched them like but in the first couple days of premiere premie. Because I think, well, I think they came out on Friday, so I think we pretty much always watched them on that Tuesday, sometimes on the weekend. Yeah, back when you liked hanging out with me, would you stop so? But they were so much fun and even the bad ones were still good enough because you had something fresh to watch every month. That had. One of the things I think it had going for it very much was it was generally newer voices in show business, with the occasional sprinkled in celebrity like celebrity, but they would always be somebody who like deserved.

15:26 Barbie Crampton, I think it pops up in one if I'm not mistaken. I'll talk about the makers though, oh yeah, yeah, you know, the actors know it was. It was a lot of a lot of celebs here and there. But I mean, like like Pilgrim had John Gulligher, yes, you know, so like there there would be a lot of new directors, but also a few of those genre directors that you were like, hey, I seen them in a hot minute. John Gulligher did Feast, which I think is it will be most famous for because that's. Really great movie and there's only one. There's only one Feast movie, I you know, Feast. So Feast was made in participation with Project GREENLIGHTAH, which was a reality show where people get to make a movie by pitching it to what it was it Ben Athleck, Ben Affle, I think, and yeah and his team of people.

16:14 The second season they decided to make a horror movie because the first season they did like kind of an artsy kind of movie if I remember correctly, And John Gulligher Clue Gullier's son won the contest to be a director, and Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunston who went on to take over the Saw franchise and make The Collector and The Collection, which are two freaking awesome movies. They won the screenwriting competition, so they they I think Feast was a spec script, actually, I believe so they picked that. When you watch Feast, it is good, it's funny, it's weird, it's quirky. It's kind of like a sophomoric, more sophomoric from Dusk KILLDN because they're holed up in a bar, there's little monsters, they're weird. Watch two and three and know that they were given a lower budget, but it's the same team. Yeah, and basically very little oversight.

17:05 And they were supposed to be one movie originally and they made it into two. Correct. I don't think that's the case. I think they actually were supposed to make two and three. Think they were supposed to turn it into a franchise. Okay, could be wrong on that, but my point is it became very apparent by three that those gentlemen were working very well. Yeah, when they were kind of reined in by like afflex people. Yeah, because Feast had the quirky goofiness, had the weird little moments where you were like, did that monster just hump that person's face? Yeah, what is going on? But still like delivered the scares and delivered the gross out and delivered the fun. Two was okay, it had some good moments.

Three was because I watched them all in a row one, two and three, And by the third one, I think I paused it halfway to make lunch and like decided like halfway through, like being in the kitchen, the tea being back, and I was just like, it's fine, Like I'll just listen to it while I make lunch. Well, and and I'm not trying to just be mean. They also had very little to work with, and you could tell them, yeah, way lower budget. Well, the plots basically become abysmal by the end of the second one. I mean actually midway through the second one, like they kind of go off of the first one and have a little bit like of a story, and. The third one has like a total anti ending. Yeah, and then it also has like the oh god, like the not libre.

And yeah, I mean the first one is so much fun. Still it is, and I think it's a testament to what those guys are capable of. Although Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunsta wanted to do some really awesome stuff. Oh yeah, I think they took the Saw franchise in a really interesting direction, especially considering again, you're getting less and less to work with, you have less and less new ideas because you can only do so much and you can only change so much before somebody reels you in. Yeah, but I think that the Collector and the Collection are so painfully underrated, even though I remember the Collection did okay, I think.

19:21 I think honestly, like the Collector like made such a big stink when it came out because like it was it was from the people that brought you saw and whatnot, and and everybody kind of saw it. And then the Collection kind of got forgot because like it was supposed to have a theatrical release or it did. Or it did it did No, So Dave, I think you u, I think you're remembering wrong. Keep in mind, though it was also, oh, it bombed. It bombed, but what had but it had a full blown uh it came out twenty twelve. Yeah, you know what happened was the was was somewhat the opposite. The Collector was like a sleeper hit. Yeah. So the Collection got a ten million dollar budget and a full throated theatrical distribution. Ye release. I saw it in the theater. I had never seen or heard of the Collector. I thought the Collection was amazing. It did bomb at the box office. It made nine point nine mili against ten million dollar budget, which sucks because it was good. Well, it was really really good. But I think the thing that hurt them the most. I don't think it's that the Collection got lost in the shuffle or that the Collector got lost necessarily. I think the biggest problem is people confuse them for each other. That's fair because the covers look really similar and the titles are really similar, even though I think going from the Collector to the collections, I mean, it's not like we're not in a world now where we had the to the beginning to differentiate movies.

20:38 Now. That said, though, if you're putting it on a shelf, collection has to go first, Collector after it. The only reason I know that's because I had to do that, and. So anyway, so is Blumhouse was at that time really shoring up their television department because the movies were not made by Blumhouse, they were made by Blumhouse TV. It was coming out like I think they were in the second season then if I remember, or maybe they just wrapped it up and that was their big television property. But the thing is Blumhouse has put there.

And then they made a couple of Blumhouse Television movies for Amazon. So this was kind of the beginning of them kind of running with it. And I just thought the idea of every month they would try to like wow you with a full length movie. It was fun and it smacked of one of my favorite experiments of all time. Roger Corman Presents, where Showtime did the same thing but with Roger Korman's studio, and every month for two years and some change there was a brand new Roger Horrman movie on Showtime. It was just like no one new Into the Dark drop like that was good times. It was really fun. And this one had always stood out to me as particularly great. Yeah, no, this is a good one. So we are talking about Into the Dark episode down from twenty nineteen one hour in twenty one minutes rate a TVMA strong language, sexual content, and graphic violence.

Yeah, And but I was kind of like oh when I realized it, but I had nothing else to watch. Yeah, this was before streaming, so I was like, just watch it. And not only do I love that movie, it's a movie about a guy playing a game show that's kind of secret, where he has to do more and more terrible things, but all of the things have something in common that's specific to him, which is the bizarre part.

But the ending made me cry my eyes out like a baby, and then the actual ending, I was like, fucking fair enough. So I can't recommend thirteen Game of Death enough. I can't remember where if it was either on letterbox or IMDV the other day, but I read a review on Point Break and it was along the lines of that whole thing of Goodfellas, where it's just like, this is a movie that just kind of glamorized his back. I'm like, did you watch the ending? No, you know that sounds like something. He probably just has ibs. So he's like, he gets through about half the movie before he shits his brains out, and he's like, oh, the credits are on. Well, it's pretty good. I guess.

And so he abruptly ends a story and he basically tells her that he's also become aroused at this point, and she kind of figures it out with him as well. That is not that's just bullshit. No, No, Like I'm not saying that that meant she wanted to like sleep with him, Yeah, but she was like feeling.

They've also kept a pretty respective tone so far, because she also reveals that like she had an X and by the point, and also I think he's basically said that he's had past relationships but hasn't really gone into it much. Yeah. Yeah, he said that he just didn't have a lot of luck. Well, that's one of the things they bond overs. Like, they're both kind of sad SAPs. Yeah, hope, like both of them. Ironically, they're very alike because they both have a hopeful Valentine's romance, Yeah, that they're hoping will work out the way they want. And by this point, they've uncapped the wine, they've missed, she's missed her flight, and they've accepted that they don't know at this point when they're getting out, Yeah, so they are just basically trying to pass the time. So he goes to ask Jennifer he can kiss her, and she ends up kissing him. They end up having sex in the elevator, and then afterwards he is, you know, getting dressed, she's getting dressed, and he's kind of like, you know what happens next, and she lays some hard, cold truth on it, David.

Terminate reference. So so no, but so they and and this is the thing, this is why the movie works so well. Them sleeping together makes sense. Yeah, it came about organically. She's like laying there, like hugging down because she has to pee so bad. Yeah, and he's like, don't why be embarrassed, Like I'm gonna happen. You know you're not alone in this. So I think that them them having sex made perfect sense because they were flirting a little bit. They're both perfectly attractive individual. What a great story of how I met your mother? You don't talk about my mother? No, No, you better pay you didn't see that she'll find you. You know what they say. You can take the girl out of hazard Kentucky, but you can't take the hazard Kentucky out of the girl.

Progress is really good, the timing's really good, and I mean, like I said, we're getting ready to reveal it once we get to the twist. There's still forty minutes left, so, I mean, we've had this great time to get to know our characters and now shit is going off well. And I got annoyed because we were looking at the Roger Ebert dot com review of the movie and they had said, like, it's another one of these like you have sex and it those bad things, and I was like, Okay, first of all, shut up.

And that's kind of the point though, is that we have this setting that makes perfect sense. Yeah. I never once when I was watching the thought, gee, why are they just banging it out already? No? Like no, it makes sense both really sweet. Yeah, and the situation is that whole like lonely hearts end up together kind of thing. I like it. Well, he's given far more vulnerability so far than she has too, I mean, like he's really opened up, so we think definitely. So basically, Jennifer tells him that, you know, she could fall in love with another person, and on the other hand, Guy tells her that the encounter was merely casual and it's just like now we've got a problem because he really is like, well, I thought, you know, we'd be together after this, and wouldn't this make a cool story.

She's like, eh, you know, and he's like, well, no, but that that wasn't nothing, you like slept together, And she's like, yeah, but like I think, didn't she say that? It like made her realize that she wants to go. For he still has feelings for her. Ass Yeah, she made her realize that, and it's like that sucks, but it's also a really great example of like what happens when you can't escape your one night stand. Yeah, well, but then guys holding all the cards at this point, because she basically says, you know, you're a nice guy, but you know I still have feelings in my axe and you know, well you know we'll always still have this because like he even says like, you know, are you just gonna act like this to happen? She's like, well, of course it happened. He should she should have been like, I love you like a brother. He'd be like we just had sex and be like like a step brother.

He's the security guard for the building. The one who would be in the office. And also he's had a key this entire time, and while she was distracted when she got on the elevator, he stopped it while she wasn't looking. Because why would you why would you be observing the other person as they hit their number or whatever. Yeah, so he stopped the elevator. He reveals that he is the security guard for the building, and also that he is the only worker right now because the two others he relieved them, gave them gave him the option to take the night off, so he's the only one the building. So naturally he turns the elevator on and he's like, you know, I'm sorry, and she just goes off.

1:04:37 She's like, I'm You're gonna be fucking arrested, Like I you know where I'm gonna have the end of you. And he's like I can't have that stops it, She charges him, goes to kick at him. He picks her up, and she breaks the key off in the Yeah, freaking so. Now they're actually stuck. Yeah, and this brings about the next part that I really like. Yeah, because they've tried, they tried early on too a sc but it just won't happened. Yeah. And because this is a big we forgot to mention this is a hefty elevator. This is a very nice I would say it's at least like ten by ten, probably. Close to it, yeas ten by ten is pretty huge. Yeah, I think it might be like eight by ten because it felt like it was a little wider than it was. Probably like from here to there of this room where we're in right now. That's almost exactly eight by ten actually.

1:06:01 And then yeah, so she breaks the key off. They are officially completely stuck. No one's gonna be in the building till Tuesday. He does not expect anybody to come through, and he and by this point he's like, fuck, now my plans all screwed up too, and now they are legitimately stuck down. Those plays are screaty. One to spend the who weekend, that's fair. So the elevator is stopped, there's no key working for it. And you know, she has also been knocked out at this point because when he picked her up, like he knocked her out. And so she comes to and he's just sitting in the corner looking at the wall and like just starts talking to her, which I always thought was creepy. He's so creepy. And they do such a great job because remember up until this point they've basically been just in this elevator. Yeah, and it works great. And by this point he also reveals that he's not. This is not just a coincidence. He's been stalking her for months, Like he shows security camera footage pictures of her and has even said like, you know, and you've you've seen me, You've looked at me and have not acknowledged me. And I tried to talk to you time and time again every single day, a hundred times, like goes on about how like you're not giving me the time of day. This was the only option I had. Yeah, because she's even like, you know, well, you know, I'm you know, I'm sorry I never noticed you, and he completely sees through what she's saying.

1:07:06 Yeah, yeah, it's so freaking uncomfortable. Yeah, and this is I mean, this movie works great, but it's about to get crazy. It's about to get crazy. So he decides that you know, they had they've tried everything so far except the last thing, which is to go through the ceiling. So he takes off I think is it a is it his shoe or her shoe because I think it's high heel, because I think that's her Ye. Yeah, So he takes off her shoe and he starts hitting the tiles, gets the tile away in the elevator. So he's like, I'm gonna climb out and call the police, and she's like, maybe I should go. You know, i'd be easier to live blah blah blah blah. So he's like, I don't know about that, but okay, So he puts her up. She gets on the roof and immediately flips him off and goes running. Yeah, because why not. Yeah, So she tries to climb a ladder. He jumps through the hole that he has made for himself and gets onto the roof of the elevator starts chasing her up another ladder. One thing leads to another. They end up falling completely from the height onto the bottom of the elevator.

1:07:59 Right back one thing. That's an They end up sleeping together again somehow, but then there back at now no, yeah, and they end up right back in the elevator. Yeah, going down. Down is one thing. When they fell, it should have just moved a little bit. That would suggest they're in serious trouble. I mean, that elevator looks like it can hold cattle. So Jennifer is the first to recover, and she ends up tying up guy using one of the discarded clothing so his hands are tied behind his back, and she takes the opportunity to also make a power move. She grabs the cigar lighter and the cigar cutter. Because we forgot to mention. There's so much. He ends up taunting her by digging through the gifts She had gotten. Her bow, got her boyfriend a nice suit jacket, and a box of cigars and a cutter.

1:08:43 This it was some weird box that had like three cigars and that cut her in a torch in it, which I didn't understand. I mean, it just seems like if I was like, oh, she's like, I got you cigars, and if if somebody came to me I was like, I got you cigars and it was a box and then I opened it, it's just like three cigars, and I'd be like, do you like me, but you got me a box of cigars? What if it's just like one cigar and just like a nice card just placed in the box. It depends on how nice the card is. You know, a handmade Tornador two card and for your birthday, I would cry, you're welcome. Well, there were no cigars, though there's a massage still inclaimed. You just really amped up the sexual tension between us on the show when you threw that out there.

So I love this to you because since this is a TV movie, we have the fade to blacks, so that that's my favorite. Is him true? No darkness?

So when we come back, we find that he's basically like laying in the fetal position, and she has decided to get her phone out once more, and she's like, you know, my name is Jennifer. I've been stuck in this elevator because by this point it's like two days, I think nearly yeah, something like that. And so she turns the camera on him, has him confessed that he's not a security guard, what his real name is, which is John Deacons, it's not guy uh, and just a bunch of other things basically incorminating. But one thing you'll love this. So Cam was getting ready for work last night when I was watching, might have to run me down regardless. Yeah, yes, yes, I mean I don't want to disregard, that's but yeah. So he was like, you know, that actually wouldn't be held up in like hold held up in court because it's under.

1:10:56 Duress, except that it's all true. That's what I said. And he's like and he's like, well, technicality, blah blah blah. No, the video would not be admissible in court. But the fact that he is not who he said he is who he really is, that part could hold up. Yeah, that's the tricky thing. They couldn't probably show that to the jury, but they could use it to help investigate. Yeah. So so that is when we see that she's got everything recorded on her phone. Now he's John Deacons. He used to be a successful white collar worker, and then tells her that the sexual encounter he claims to have made up earlier was actually true. So the dark side that came out that was from experience. Yay, so only in reality, his pastor was accidentally killed when his car ran off of Irvine, and that's after serving six months in jail for the crash, and he was unable to get a promising job, so he plotted the elevator incident to get a taste of his former life.

1:11:50 Aw every time you go, ah way. So by this point, both parties have fallen asleep. It's the next morning, and we see somebody else entering the building, which is one of security guards Eddie with a girlfriend that he's brought in, and he immediately goes to his desk. He sees in the camera that two people are stuck in the elevator, gets on the intercom, starts talking to Jennifer and he's like, you know, we're trapped in here, and he's like, okay, I'll come save you. Finds where they're trapped at and you know, he gets a is it an axe or something? Or I can't remember what what do he does get it open? It was like a pride bar, yeah, pride bar. So he pries it open and he finds out. He's like, you know, John, are you in there? And he's like yeah, and he's like, yeah, well, here's my key, gives him the key and by this point it's all darkness, like the doors are open and it's just John only voice talking yep, And so hands him the key and he's like it's not working and he's like, all right, I'll come in. So he crawls through the hole of the elevator and he looks over to the side, sees the woman bloody, and then he also sees John covered in blood because at this point he's had the shit beat out of him, and that's when he's like John and he's like sorry, Eddie, grabs his hands, turns the knob and uses the elevator to cut him right the fucking half.

1:12:55 Yeah, and we're not kidding. This is you get some gore payoff? Yeah, you do. Real. So that's when we see that, you know, he has basically sliced him in half, and he's clearing it up. He goes out of the elevator, and he's walking naked through the hallways and gets to the bathroom, puts his security guard outfit back on, goes to the security desk and looks at the computer deletes the files of the video. We also see that Eddie is bagged up in a in a plastic bag and it is scrusome. Yeah, But also while he's looking at the computer desk, he also sees that Eddie's girlfriend comes up and she's like, where's Eddie And he's like, oh Eddie split wh yeah, And she's like solid okay and goes to leave, and we get probably my favorite shot because of how insane it is is she's walking to the door all of a sudden the beam from the flashlight comes on the back of her and it just cuts around. He's charging her like mouth agape, like a madman. And then once again one of those beautiful cut the black.

1:13:48 Well and what they're doing there is they're establishing just how nuts the guy is to make you even more afraid. For oh yeah, he's completely unhinged at this point. So he kills the girlfriend and we see Eddie gets dumped down the elevator, schaft the girl and follows her or follows him, and that's when he takes an unconscious Jennifer to the parking garage, gets into his car, which also just so happens to like kind of have some stuff ready to go, like a can of gas and h some tarps and among other things. Sounds to me like he's a hobbyist of some sort. It could be, yeah, absolutely, So we see that he puts her in the trunk and starts driving away. He goes to this back alley like drives to the city a little bit, goes to a back alley, a really long back alley where a trashkin is at the end, pulls the car back in, pops the trunk. Before actually before that, he talks to Jennifer through the trunk and basically says, you know, maybe in another life we could have been okay together, but I guess shit happens. It's you know, it is what it is. So that he pops the trunk Jennifer's playing possum and quickly jumps up, kicks the shit out of him, knocks him out, throws him into the dumpster, and then the piece that is his toss She gets into his car, gets the cigar, lights it and then tosses it into the dumpster as it becomes a blaze. And this is all in slow.

1:15:00 Yeah, buddy, she is not one to be trifled with. No tosses lit cigar in flames, burst out, We hear John screaming and cut to black, and that is twenty nineteen's down. What a ride? What a fun ride? Yeah? Yeah, no, this movie is a ton of fun. You really ought to do. Give yourself a treaty. Watch it on Hulu. And really, I mean, one of the reasons we're doing this is I think a lot of people would really enjoy Yeah into the Dark. Now, some people may not enjoy the ones that weren't hit as well. There's some quirky ones, there's some weird ones, I mean, but like you and I said, I think a couple weeks ago, even the even the absolute dogs as we as we would call them, still have some watch super fun.

Yeah, New Year Knew You from twenty twenty eighteen. That one's wacky, that one. The reason I chose it for this one is because it kind of has that same interpretation of we meet people that we think are gonna be friendly, and they're longtime friends and they're having a New Year's Eve party, you know, they're they're saying goodbye and saying hello to the new resolutions and everything, and then slowly but surely things start coming out from each of their friendships that get a little darker. At a little darker, and it's a little darker.

1:16:29 And we've got that whole social media kind of influencer vibe going to oh yeah, which has become trite, but it was actually somewhat new then Yeah yeah. No, but this is this is a really good one. So New Year Knew You from twenty eighteen. It would have been the fourth one that they released, which is just I think, let's see what, because there was this one and then yeah no, this would be right before down. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, because they always did the New Year's episode in January that because they had a Christmas episode in December. Yeah, so New Year, New You is one we recommend. Unfortunately, I would love to give you some fun. Actually, the only one is is that this was shot in Trump Tower. That's the only one I can find. Huh. Yeah, I would have thought of a shot in Canada. Yeah, but uh, what are your final thoughts on twenty nineteens down?

1:17:10 I mean it's a hell of a lot of fun. Oh yeah, any movie that has people kind of trapped is fun for me. I love when things are pared down to where it's mostly just the characters. But they also gave you that wild ride of when they get out of the elevator for a bit and how psycho this guy really is. So it really kind of scratches both itches. Yeah, it scratches the itch of kind of a psychological character driven drama and then goes off the rails toward the end to really kind of drive it home. Yeah. So I think I think nearly anybody who likes a horror movie you like this. Yeah. I think honestly for this series, we could we could change up our rented stream it by it. I think we should only stream it is the only yeah, but I think I think we should do with ads without ads own it? How would you own it?

It's actually one of the top rated ones on IMDb two as well. I didn't know that. But it's a lot of fun, has a great twist that we've spoiled now naturally, sure, but no, it's a lot of fun. You got some great performances in it, and the ending is just absolutely crazy because like that was the one thing that I'll say is like I was getting the P two vibes this you know, this second watch, and I was like, oh no, this goes absolutely insane, unlike P two. Yeah, it's not as subdued and subtle as P two. So yeah, I think it is a strong recommend from both of us. And going with recommends, we always like to recommend a couple films towards the end of the show.

Businesswoman is pursued by a psychopath that they're being locked in a parking garage on Christmas Eve. That movie will come to the show at some point, I'm sure positive. And then the second one, you, I don't know if you've seen it or not. Do you remember back in the early twenty tens when Fangoria did the Fangoria Present line of the movies that were coming out at that point. Yeah, of course. So one that really stuck with me is twenty twelve's in Human Resources. I might have seen that. It's currently available on freeb Plex, Prime and two B. It says six captive office workers are literally chained at their desk by a deranged former regional manager, Thomas Redman.

1:19:16 He assigns his human resources the impossible task of proving his innocence or suffering grewsome consequences. Oh that sounds I think I might have seen that one. Again. It's a solid It's one of the first two that were released because there was Acts, which was about the guy that takes his family to the country, boils their phones, and basically decides that he's going to kill them all. And then In Human Resources was the second one, and In Human Resources is a blast. It's got a great twist at the end as well. Nice. So what's your recommendation for this week. It's a little obvious, but I really think it's it's perfect for this because it's a it's a classic, more modern elevator. So it's twenty ten's Devil. I love Devil. Yeah, I screamed when a certain moment happened in Devil. It is a it's got supernatural elements.

1:20:01 A group of people are trapped in an elevator and the devil is mysteriously among them. The whole thing is trying to figure out who the devil is. Yeah, in the elevator and you've got all kinds of people. That was right after the happening. Uh maybe maybe right like yeah, probably, Yeah, I think it was. I think night Shamalaan was one of the writers. Yeah, because Lady in the Water the happening, and I think it was Devil was like not one of the comebacks, but like one of the ones that people took note of. Again, I think I think so Devil was definitely I remember people talking about it positively and I I just really it really stuck out to me. It's really fun. Is it available where I didn't look?
