47 - Growing Up Orthodox with James Constantine

47 - Growing Up Orthodox with James Constantine

James Constantine shares his experience growing up in the Orthodox Christian faith and how he's taking an active role in raising his children with a deep appreciation for Orthodoxy. He provides a beautiful illustration of how he's praying with his two young sons for 5 minutes each night before they go to sleep. Dave also asks James about his struggles in deepening his own faith and his tips for keeping kids engaged during Divine Liturgy (both in-person and online).

Let's get to know one of our fellow "Dads of Orthodoxy." Shall we? James is a Multimedia Marketing Consultant with The Frederick News-Post and a graduate of York College of Pennsylvania where he majored in History with a minor in Business Administration. He's been married for about five years to his wife, Stephenie, and they have two young boys.

I'd like to thank the "Dads of Orthodoxy" Facebook group. It's a great place to connect with other fathers in the Orthodox Christian faith and share our wins and losses as dads "fighting the good fight." Check it out at https://facebook.com/groups/dadsoforthodoxy.

Also, don't miss Orthodox@Work-- my new monthly podcast series with Sean Reid, an Orthodox deacon and business coach. It starts on June 29, 2020 and will run on the last Monday of each month. We will discuss how to live out Orthodoxy in the workplace and your business.
