Warrior. Counselor. Actor. The Rise of Pedro G. Lugo

Born in Puerto Rico and raised between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and his homeland, Pedro's journey has taken him across the world—from enlisting in the U.S. Army at just 17 to serving in the Department of Justice before retiring in 2019.

Pedro is a dedicated father and stepfather, a lifelong martial artist, an outdoor enthusiast who conquered Half Dome in Yosemite, and a model and actor who has been in the industry since 1997. He is also the host of On The Count, a podcast where Pedro, a former Correction Officer and Counselor, interviews ex-prisoners, inmates, Correction Officers, Wardens, and many others to share their jail, prison, and life experiences.

His story is one of resilience, faith, and personal growth, guided by Abraham Lincoln’s wisdom: "I don't think well of a man that knows less today than he did yesterday."
