In this episode of Conversations with Nicole, Cissy and Jason Carroll, founders of the Take The Trip Foundation, share their inspiring story. The Take The Trip Foundation is a nonprofit organization that sends "young families impacted by terminal illnesses on one amazing adventure together to create lasting memories for loved ones who need it most." The foundation is a result of the kindness shown to Cissy and her family after she was diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer with brain metastases in 2015. It was an act of kindness she wanted others in a situation like hers to experience.
