I've always had a tremendous amount of respect for law enforcement. During my nearly 35 years in local television news, I witnessed the countless men and women who upheld their commitment to serve and protect, in an honorable way. I'm delighted to share Investigator Vicki Rains's story in this episode of Conversations with Nicole. Vicki is a Rock Star! She's kind and caring, and puts her whole heart and soul into her work. She's an Investigator assigned to the Missing Persons Unit in the Richland County Sheriff's Department in South Carolina. She's also one of several officers featured in the NETFLIX Series, Missing: Dead or Alive. The series was released this year (2023) and follows officers from the Richland County Sheriff's Department as they search for individuals who've disappeared under troubling circumstances.
