We're building a rural Canadian digital news network, focused on delivering stories that mainstream media isn't covering, news that affects rural communities. And we're doing that through a kaleidoscope of colour, not just through a white lens.

I'm Shauna Rae. I worked in traditional radio newsrooms for a decade and then I worked in communications, community engagement and public relations. Some of that was assisting rural entrepreneurs. I found that engaging minority groups became about ticking boxes and that didn't sit well. I left to start Clearing a New Path™ podcast and Clearing a New Path™ weekly newsletter, attempting to fill a void. But I saw a bigger opportunity, one to connect, engage and build together in our rural Canadian communities.
