The Daily Podcast bringing you every raw, unfiltered detail from the Sean Dittycombs sex trafficking and racketeering trial. I'm Nate Oliver, reporting from outside the Manhattan Federal Courthouse on Wednesday May twenty eighth, day eighteen of this headline grabbing case. After a four day holiday break, the trial returned with a vengeance, delivering some of the most harrowing and revealing testimony yet.
49 The star witness Capricorn Clark, Ditty's former executive assistant, longtime confidante, and a key link between Ditty and Cassie Ventura. Clark's time on the stand peeled back the curtain on the inner workings of the Combes Empire and revealed just how far Ditty's jealousy, control and threats allegedly went. Clark began by describing her relationship with both Ditty and Cassie, explaining that she was like a sister to Cassie and had worked for Ditty for years managing everything from his travel to his private affairs. She told the jury that in December twenty eleven, after Ditty discovered Cassie's relationship with rapper Kid Cuddy, he showed up at Clark's house in Los Angeles.
30 Furious and armed. He came to my house with a gun. Clark testified, her voice trembling. She said Diddy forced her into his car, threatening her and demanding she help him confront Cutty at his Hollywood Hills home. I was petrified, she said, I felt like I was being kidnapped. Clark described calling Cassie in a panic, warning her Puff came to my house with a gun. She could hear Cuddy in the background, alarmed, asking he's in my house. Clark told Cassie stop him. He's going to get himself killed. Clark recounted that as they drove to Cuddy's home, Diddy was ranting, screaming, and waving the gun around. He ordered Clark to fetch Cassie, threatening if you don't convince him, I'm going to kill all you mother efforts. Clark testified that she felt trapped and terrified, forced to act as a go between in a confrontation that could have turned deadly.
27 He told me to tell Cassie that he has me and he's not going to let me go until I come get her, Clark said. She described the fear and helplessness of being caught in Ditty's rage, knowing that any wrong move could set him off. The drama didn't end there. Clark described returning to Ditty's house with Cassie, where she found Ditty in a robe and underwear, still seething. He immediately began kicking Cassie over and over. Clark testified, her voice breaking as she recalled the violence. It was chaos. He was screaming, cursing, and no one stopped him, not the bodyguard, not anyone. Clark said she was petrified and felt trapped in Ditty's world, where fear and intimidation ruled.
09 You didn't say no to Puff, You just did what you were told, she said. Clark also described a separate incident in Miami Beach where Ditty, frustrated after a long night, charged at her and pushed her through the house and out the door, yelling, if you hate it here, get the f out of my house. Clark said she was pushed roughly twenty five yards before a bodyguard intervened and told her to pack her things. She recounted that Ditty's anger was unpredictable and explosive, and that even his closest employees lived in fear of being fired or worse, he could be charming and generous one minute and then turn on you in a heartbeat, Clark said. Throughout her testimony, Clark painted a picture of a workplace ruled by paranoia and suspicion. She described how Ditty would make employees take polygraph tests, monitor their communications, and demand absolute life loyalty.
01 Clark said she was often caught in the crossfire of Ditty's volatile relationships, forced to mediate between him and Cassie or other women. She recalled one night when Ditty made Cassie perform humiliating acts in front of a group of women, then turned to the group and said, did you see that? That's why you don't have a man. Clark said the emotional toll was immense, and that she often felt powerless to help Cassie or protect herself. Clark's testimony also touched on the infamous fire bombing of Kid Cuddy's Porsche. She said she called Cassie to warn her that Ditty was out of control and that she feared something terrible would happen. Clark told the jury that after the arson, Cassie was terrified and believed Ditty was capable of anything. The prosecution is using Clark's account to reinforce the narrative that Ditty's jealousy and rage weren't just private matters. They spilled into violence, intimidation, and threats against anyone who crossed him. On cross examination, Ditty's attorney Mark Agnifilo pressed Clark about her motives and her ongoing relationship with Ditty after leaving his employment. He presented a text message from Clark to Ditty in twenty twenty one in which she wrote, I had the biggest crush on you. Clark said she didn't recall sending the message, but admitted she once held Ditty in high regard. The defense suggested Clark's testimony was colored by personal feelings in business disputes, but Clark insisted her fear and trauma were real.
29 I did not want to go and it was not my choice, sir, she told Agnafilo, and asked why she accompanied Ditty to confront kid Cutty. Agnafilo also tried to suggest that Clark's testimony was motivated by a desire for attention or revenge, but Clark stood firm, saying she was testifying because the truth needs to be told. The courtroom was tense as Clark broke down while discussing the emotional toll of her years working for Ditty. She described the job as a business education, but said the abuse, paul tests and constant suspicion left her petrified. She said she often felt like she was walking on eggshells, never knowing when Ditty's mood would shift. It was exhausting mentally and physically.
13 Clark said, you never really relaxed. Clark's testimony was supported by text messages, emails, and corroborating accounts from other former employees and insiders. Prosecutors highlighted Clark's unique position as both a confidant and a victim, arguing that her story was key to understanding the culture of fear and control that permeated Ditty's empire more in a moment. The day's testimony sent shockwaves through the media and hip hop world. Even fifty Cent, Ditty's longtime rival, took to social media to mock Ditty's tough guy talk. As Clark's allegations of god threats in violence made headlines. The trial's celebrity web continues to grow, with more insiders and former employees expected to testify in the coming days. Also scheduled for testimony this week are representatives from the Los Angeles Police and fire departments, who are expected to provide official records and first hand accounts of the break in at Kid Cuddy's house and the arson attack on his Porsche. Their testimony could lend critical credibility to the stories of violence and threats that have already rocked the courtroom. As the trial barrels forward, the prosecution is methodically building a case that Ditty orchestrated a criminal enterprise of abuse, intimidation, and sexual exploitation. The defense, meanwhile,
43 continues to argue that Ditty's world was wild but consensual, and that the government is criminalizing a swinger lifestyle and using reicho laws in an unprecedented way. That's where we stand as the trial enters another pivotal day tomorrow. I'll bring you every new revelation, every legal twist, and every rumor from inside and outside the courthouse.
