Tuesday, Day seven, medical examiner testimony about the wounds sustained by the children for the first time in the trial. Adrian Gonzalez showed visible emotion, appeared to wipe away tears, but the court room wasn't just moved by sadness. The sister of a victim made an emotional outburst had to be escorted from the building.

Ryan would take the blame for Christine's murder. Brendan would be the grieving husband who heroically defended his wife. Magalhey said she returned to the house with Brendan while Ryan was upstairs with Christine. She saw Ryan on top of Christine, heard Christine say he has a knife. Then Brendan allegedly shot Ryan in the head and use the knife Ryan brought to stab his wife multiple times in the neck. Both victims died rapidly. Medical examiner testified they would have been dead within seconds to minutes. Maggal Hines admitted she shot Ryan in the chest when she noticed he was still moving.
