03 Callarogus Shark Media. Welcome back to Did He Do It? The Daily Podcast, bringing you every raw, unfiltered detail from the Sean dittycomb sex trafficking and racketeering trial. I'm Nate Oliver, reporting from outside the Manhattan Federal Courthouse on Tuesday, May twentieth, day twelve of this explosive case. Yesterday, Monday May nineteenth, the prosecution's case against Ditty grew even more damning as two powerful witnesses took the stand. Dawn Richard, the platinum selling Danity Kine singer and longtime Bad Boy collaborator, and Carrie Morgan, a model in Cassie Ventura's former closest friend.

50 What was Dawn Richard's testimony? Richard, dressed in a yellow and white checkered suit, looked Ditty in the eye as she recounted years of violence and fear within his inner circle. She told jurors she saw Ditty beat Cassie Ventura in two thousand and nine at his Los Angeles home, grabbing a skillet as Cassie cooked eggs, trying to hit her, then punching and kicking her as she curled into a fetal position. Richard said Diddy dragged Cassie upstairs by her hair, and the next day in the studio handed out flowers and coldly warned people go missing. When asked what she thought that meant, Richard told a jury that we could die. She described Ditty as belligerent, demanding, and violent, adding that she saw him punch, choke, drag, and kick Cassie often, not just once. Richard also described a celebrity packed dinner where Ditty punched Cassie in front of usher, Jimmy Iovine and Neo. She told the court she frequently saw Cassie with visible injuries bruises on her face, arms, and knees, and that Diddy would threaten anyone who spoke up, warning if we said anything, we could go missing. Richard testified to seeing Ditty use marijuana, cocaine, ketamine, and Mollie and to his drug dealer one stop bringing illegal drugs and pharmaceuticals to the studio. She also said she saw Ditty with a handgun and a Louis Vitam bag full of drugs.

18 On cross examination, Ditty's attorney Nicole Westmoreland, pressed Richard about why she would ever reach out to Combs again after the alleged violence. Richard admitted she did, explaining I was trying to help a friend, and described the bad boy environment as volatile. She acknowledged that in later years she tried to reconnect with Comb's for professional reasons, but insisted her motivation for testifying was not money or fame. I'm expecting justice. The defense challenged inconsistencies in her testimony, but Richard said, I have to go back to memory that I didn't want to come back to. Carrie Morgan, a model in Cassie's former best friend, described her own alleged assault by and years of witnessing violence and control. Morgan testified that she and Cassie often discussed whether Cassie should leave Ditty, but Cassie always said she couldn't. He controlled everything, her job, her car, her apartment. Morgan said she saw Didty assault Cassie multiple times, including dragging her by the hair during a trip to Jamaica and pushing her so hard that Cassie hit her head and lay motionless. Morgan described hearing guttural, terrifying screams from Cassie during these attacks.

29 Morgan also recounted a twenty eighteen incident at Cassie's Hollywood Hills home. While Cassie was locked in the bathroom, Ditty entered, accused Morgan of helping Cassie cheat, choked her, and boomeranged a wooden hangar at her head, leaving her with a concussion and marks on her neck. I got my stuff and left the house, Morgan said, adding that Ditty's personal assistant witnessed the attack but did nothing. Morgan later accepted a thirty thousand dollars payment and signed an NDA. After threatening to sue Ditty over the assault, She told the court, I do not want to testify. I have moved on with my life. Her friendship with Cassie ended after this attack.

10 Morgan also described being present the night Cassie returned home after the twenty sixteen hotel assault, her face hidden under a hoodie and a black eye visible. Morgan said Ditty arrived at the apartment soon after, pounding on the door with a hammer and yelling. When police arrived, Cassie refused to cooperate. Consistent with her own testimony last week, What's the Prosecution's narrative? Prosecutors use these testimonies to reinforce their portrait of Ditty as a man who ruled by fear, violence, and manipulation. They allege he orchestrated freak offs, drug fueled coerced sex parties, then threatened and blackmailed women into silence.

51 Homeland Security agent Yasin Binda also testified about evidence seized during Ditty's arrest, bottles of baby oil and lubricant, prescription drugs, cash burner phones, and a Louis Viuton bag with drugs prescribed to an alias. So what's the defense strategy? Ditty's legal team hammered away at the credibility of the witnesses, suggesting financial motives and career grievances. They argued that while Ditty may have been violent, nothing he did amounted to sex trafficking or racketeering. The defense maintains all sexual acts were consensual and that the government is criminalizing a swinger lifestyle. During cross examination, they highlighted that both Richard and Morgan continued to associate with Ditty after the alleged abuse, and pressed Richard about her ongoing professional contacts with him. The courthouse was buzzing as the trial's celebrity web grew. Don Richard's testimony referenced Usher Jimmy Iovine and Ni Yoh, while other celebrities named in the trial so far include Britney Spears, Michael b Jordan, Chris Brown, Drake, Kanye West, Michelle Williams, Lauren London, Dallas Awusin, and even Mike Myers. The gallery was packed with industry insiders and security was tight as rumors swirled about more famous faces possibly taking the stand.

11 Richard also testified that Ditty sabotaged her career, dismantling Danity Kane and Ditty dirty Money. He ruined my career not once, but twice, she told the court, but insisted her testimony was not about revenge. She described trying to suppress memories of her time at Bad Boy Records, calling it a hard time and volatile. She told the jury if you had an opinion or spoke up for yourself, he would hurt you for it. Morgan, for her part, said she was only testifying because she was subpoened and that she had moved on with my life away from these people and their issues. She described Cassie as numb after years of abuse, saying it was like she wouldn't care if Combs killed her more in a moment so what's next.

06 As Week three continues, the prosecution is expected to call more of Ditty's inner circle, including additional former Danity Caine members and possibly Aubrey Odey. Upcoming witnesses are expected to describe more incidents of violence, control, and alleged coercion. Prosecutors are preparing to introduce more digital evidence text messages, emails, and possibly audio recordings to further corroborate the pattern of abuse and intimidation. There's also speculation that the court may allow testimony from other women who have filed civil suits against Ditty, potentially broadening the scope of the case. Meanwhile, the defense will keep attacking the credibility and motives of the prosecution's witnesses, highlighting inconsistencies and suggesting that many accusers are motivated by money, fame, or revenge. They continue to argue that Ditty's behavior, while sometimes violent, never cross the line into federal crimes. Judge Arun Subramanian has made it clear he wants the trial to move efficiently, with sessions running from noon to three pm, and both sides warned to resolve evidentiary disputes outside the jury's presence as the trial barrels forward. The stakes couldn't be higher did. He faces five criminal charges, including racketeering, conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, and transportation for prostitution. If convicted, he could spend the rest of his life behind bars. The coming days promise more fireworks, more revelations, and more of the high stakes drama that's kept the world watching. That's where we stand

38 as Week three heats up tomorrow. I'll bring you every new revelation, every legal twist, and every rumor from inside and outside the courthouse. I'm Nate Oliver, and this is did he do it?
