The Daily podcast bringing you every raw, unfiltered detail from the Sean Ditty Combs sex trafficking and racketeering trial. I'm Nate Oliver outside the Manhattan Federal Courthouse on Saturday, June seventh, with a special weekend recap of Friday's explosive testimony, a day that left the courtroom rattled and the public stunned.
44 Friday's session was dominated by the testimony of Jane, the pseudonymous accuser, whose account has become one of the most graphic and pivotal in the prosecution's case. Jane, who is in a relationship with Diddy from twenty twenty one until his arrest in twenty twenty four, described a world of relay, relentless sexual coercion, drug fueled freak offs, and psychological control that, in her words, left her feeling broken, exhausted, and desperate to escape. Jane began by recounting how, just months into their relationship, Diddy began orchestrating what she called hotel nights what other witnesses like Cassie Ventura, called freak coughs. She told the jury that about ninety percent of her sexual encounters with Ditty involved another man, usually a male escort or a performer, and that these nights were almost always filmed by Ditty on his cell phone. Jane explained that at first she went along with these encounters out of love and fear of losing Ditty. I just wanted to be everything he desired, she said, but as the months wore on, she began to resist, telling Ditty, both in person and in writing, that she didn't want to have sex with other men. Ditty, she said, would dismiss her concerns, sometimes calling her irrational or promising to stop, only for the hotel nights to continue. The prosecution presented the jury with fifteen images Jane said were taken during these hotel nights.
10 The photos, not released to the public, showed Jane with other men in hotel rooms and, in at least one case, at Ditty's own residence. Jane testified that Ditty was present for every encounter, and that he would instruct her on how to behave, what to say, and even what positions to hold for extended periods, all for his own viewing pleasure. She described suffering from chronic urinary tract infections, yeast infections, and physical pain as a result of these prolonged, drug fueled sessions. I would pretend to enjoy it because I wanted to put in a good show, she said, but inside she was hating every minute. Jane also described the logistical side of these encounters. She testified that Ditty would hand cash to male escorts after the sessions, and if he ran low, would call his security team or chief of staff to bring more money. She recounted one particularly traumatic birthday, expecting a romantic evening only to find male escorts waiting in her hotel suite. I didn't expect that, she said, tearfully, recalling how she was made to go back and forth between the men all night. When one man left in the morning and Ditty told her Don is coming and she had sex with him too. Inside, I hated it, she told the jury, describing how she learned to mask her true feelings to avoid Ditty's anger.
30 The prosecution also played audio from a video where Jane asked a male performer to use a condom Ditty's voice can be heard interrupting and expressing his disapproval. Jane testified that Ditty twice rebuffed her requests that male performers wear condoms, making her feel guilty for even asking. When prosecutor Marine Comy asked why she didn't insist, Jane replied, because I didn't want to let my lover down. She said she felt she had no real choice, especially after Ditty threatened to stop paying her if she refused to participate. Jane's testimony was often interrupted by tears, and at one point the judge called a break when she was unable to answer why she pretended to be okay with the freak offs if she hated them so much. I just felt this weight over me, she said, describing the sense of dread that would set in every time Ditty texted her about entertainment or hotel nights. She described how Ditty's assistance would prepare the rooms in advance, sometimes illuminating them with red lights, and how she would arrive to find everything set up for another night of coercion. The day's testimony grew even more graphic as Jane recounted how Ditty would keep her high on ecstasy or other drugs during these sessions, sometimes for hours or even over eighteen hour stretches. She described blacking out vomiting after being forced to have sex with multiple men in a row, and being told by Ditty, that's good. You'll feel better now that you've thrown up, so let's go. She said that at after these episodes,
01 Ditty would push her to finish strong, ignoring her pleas for rest, food, or comfort. He was disgusted at my crying, Jane told the jury. He'd say, don't do that right now. I can't do this right now. I'm too high. Jane's account closely mirrored Cassie Ventura's earlier testimony, with both women describing a pattern of being forced into encounters with male sex workers dubbed freak offs or hotel nights, and being subjected to violence, surveillance, and blackmail. Jane said she would send Ditty subtle cues saying she was tired or hungry, making faces and gestures, but he ignored them, insisting she finished strong, or calling her irrational for objecting. When she tried to talk about ending the encounters, she said Diddy would shut her down or change the subject Prosecutors introduced text messages between Jane and Ditty, including one where Jane wrote, I no longer want to play this role in your life.
01 It's dark, sleazy and makes me feel repulsed. I don't want to feel obligated to engage in these nights with you out of fear of losing my home Ditty's reply, girl Stop. Jane testified that by September twenty twenty three, Ditty had been paying her rent for about five months, and she feared that if she refused to participate in hotel nights he would take her house away. The jury saw a copy of her lease for a ten thousand dollars per month home and a mount Jane said she could never afford on her own. The prosecution also called Enrique Santos, a forensic expert, who testified about retrieving information from three iPhones belonging to Cassie Ventura. While the details of the digital evidence were not made public, prosecutors hinted that more text messages and images could be introduced next week to further corroborate Jane's and Cassie's accounts. More In a moment throughout the day, the courtroom was tense, with Ditty seated at the defense table, sometimes tapping his fingers nervously as the jury listened to audio clips of his voice from the recordings. At one point, the judge admonished Ditty for making facial expressions and warned that any further attempts to influence the jury could result in his removal from the courtroom. Legal experts noted that such a sanction is rare, but the judge's warning underscored the seriousness of
32 the proceedings. The defenses expected to focus on Jane's continued contact with Ditty after the alleged abuse, as well as sexually explicit messages she sent him between encounters. They maintained that while Ditty's relationships were unconventional and sometimes involved violence, all sexual acts were consensual, and that the women involved were adults who made their own choices. The emotional weight of Jane's testimony, combined with the mounting physical and digital evidence, has cast a long shadow over the defense's case. Legal analysts say the prosecution's narrative of a world where Ditty used his wealth, celebrity, and psychological manipulation to coerce women into sex has grown more compelling with each new witness as the weekends. Jane's testimony stands as one of the most graphic and emotionally charged accounts in the trial so far.
24 The prosecution is expected to continue with more witnesses and evidence next week, including additional testimony about Ditty's alleged efforts to control and silence those around him. That's where we stand after a day of bombshell revelations, emotional breakdowns, and legal brinkmanship. I'll be back Monday with every new twist, every legal battle, and every rumor from inside and outside the courthouse. I'm Nate Oliver, and this is Did He Do It? This episode of Diddy Did He Do It?
