Police found Rihanna with facial contusions, a split lip, and bite marks. The photo, that horrific photo that leaked showed a woman who'd been brutalized. Her face was swollen beyond recognition, both eyes nearly shut, blood everywhere.

He nearly killed one of the most famous women in the world, and he got community service. If a regular person, if you punched someone repeatedly while driving, choked them unconscious, bit them, and threatened to kill them, you'd get attempted murder charges fifteen to life. Chris Brown got to pick up trash on the highway. But here's what really makes me sick. His career recovered by twenty eleven. He was back on the Grammys, won a Grammy in twenty twelve, has released multiple platinum albums Since he beat a woman nearly to death, and his punishment was continued success and he didn't learn. Twenty thirteen, Arrested for assault in DC. Twenty sixteen, arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, twenty seventeen restraining order from ex girlfriend Karochhr for threatening to kill her. Twenty nineteen, arrested for rape in Paris.

Instead, he's worth fifty million dollars and still making music. Rihanna, she had to see her abuser celebrated, watched him win Grammys, watched him get comeback tours, watched the industry embrace him. She forgave him publicly, probably for her own peace, But forgiveness doesn't mean he should escape justice. Chris Brown proved that you can beat a woman within an inch of her life, have photographic evidence of your violence, confess to it, and still be a free millionaire. That's not justice. That's celebrity privilege at its most disgusting. Now let's talk about Mark Wahlberg. Marky Mark the Fighter Ted Transformers, a list Hollywood royalty worth four hundred million dollars. Also a violent racist who permanently blinded a man and served forty five days. It was April nineteen eighty eight, and Wahlberg was sixteen, old enough to know better. He was high on PCP and decided to commit some hate crimes. First, he attacked Than Lam, a Vietnamese man, with a five foot wooden stick, called him a Vietnam fucking shit, beat him unconscious, left him bleeding on the ground. Then, fleeing that scene, he attacked another Vietnamese man, Johnny Trinn, punched him in the eye, called him a gook, and other slurs.

I'll tell you now, that's the motherfucker whose head I split open, proud of it, bragging about it. His sentence. He was tried as an adult for attempted murder, pled guilty to assault, got two years, served forty five days forty five days for a racist attack that left one man unconscious and another permanently disabled. If a young black man had attacked two white men calling them racial slurs, leaving one unconscious and one blind, would he serve forty five days, He'd still be in prison. Today. But Mark Wahlberg was young and white and sorry, so sorry that in twenty fourteen he applied for a pardon, wanted his record cleared so he could get a liquor license for his restaurants. Think about that entitlement. I committed hate crimes, but they're interfering with my business ventures, so let's erase them. The pardon was denied after public outcry, but Wahlberg still became one of Hollywood's highest paid actors. He's played cops, military heroes, working class heroes, good guys, all while being an actual, convicted violent racist. In interviews, he says he's forgiven himself great.

Two thousand and five arrested for sexually harassing a woman on the street.
