The skin is our biggest detoxification organ, and yet we put things on it that we do not fully understand. To avoid compromising your overall health with poorly made moisturizers and sunscreens, now is the time to give regenerative skincare products a try. Corinna Bellizzi is joined by Megan Douglas, fifth-generation herbalist and founder of The Organic Skin Co., who advocates for natural health, clean beauty, and sustainability. She talks about their holistic products made from organic ingredients and packed in highly sustainable material, which protect the skin and even the entire planet from further damage. Megan also shares practical tips on reducing toxic exposure in your personal care routine, as well as how the entire beauty industry can do its part in addressing the worsening climate crisis.
About Guest:
The founder of The Organic Skin Co., Megan Douglas is a fifth-generation herbalist and naturopath who is a passionate advocate for natural health, wellbeing, beauty and sustainability. This passion is the product of her past -from the many hours she spent out the back of her grandmother’s health food shop as a child, through her experiences in London as a fashion designer, her work as a naturopath (where she was shocked by the amount of women visiting her with skin problems, most of them caused by environmental stressors and toxins), and by her experiences as a mother, with a daughter who grew up interested in all things skincare and makeup.
