Who is our host, Julie Beckham? Julie is Rockland Trust's AVP/Financial Education Development & Strategy Officer. Since November 2011, she has performed the award-winning Ms. Money & the Coins® at nearly 200 elementary schools in Massachusetts, reaching more than 80,000 students. Julie is an accredited financial counselor (AFCPE) and a certified financial educator (AAFCS). For the past decade, she has provided financial education in fun and engaging ways. Her programs include game shows, stage performances, podcasts, and speaking events.
Julie’s “no shame” teaching style makes personal finance approachable for everyone. She studied theatre at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and has a gift for making complicated ideas simple. This helps people of all ages learn and feel comfortable while also enjoying the experience.
