One of the principles of transhumanism is that technology should be used to improve the human condition. We as humans are always looking for ways to use technology to improve our comfort, our health, and our lifespan. In many ways, we engage in transhumanist practices every day.
While some may call it hedonistic... we are truly heading in a direction as a species towards eliminating suffering through rapid advancements in technology. The question is, will removing suffering remove our humanity along with it?
