CEO succession planning is one of the most important duties of every association board of directors - and of every incumbent CEO. But few associations - even large, sophisticated ones - have developed comprehensive succession plans.
We'll explore why that is, and how to develop a succession plan with two leaders in the association industry: Gary LaBranche and Lorraine Lavet.
Gary is the President & CEO of the National Investor Relations Institute and the author of over 300 articles, podcasts and columns. And he is also the author of a book release just this year “The Association CEO Succession Toolkit” published by ASAE.
Lorraine is National Association Practice Leader and Senior Client Partner at Korn/Ferry International and has years of experience managing some of the most high profile executive searches done in the association industry!
