What is community really? What does it mean to you? And why should you care?

When we are part of a community, we tend to be predisposed to the organization’s mission, cause or belief. We are more willing to invest time and resources and open ourselves to meaningful experiences.

Competition for attention is fierce. It is not enough to identify your ideal audience. Anyone can do that.

We should all be looking for ways to create bonds with people so that they come back.

We’ve all heard the maxim, people do business with people they know, like, and trust. But how can you fast-track trust and motivate your members to greater success?

As you plan and execute your association’s strategic plan, are your members predisposed to joining your programs and actively participating? Or are you assuming their trust and loyalty?
