In today's fast-paced world, we must be ready to change all the time. But there can be no change without trust and you can't BUY trust!

In this video, I share a few ways you can speed up the trust process.

While relationships *do* take time to build, you can provide cues to people to show they can trust and get to a more valuable state in your relationships!

When you are short on time, how can you show people that you are trustworthy? Can you fast-track trust?

Let’s talk about ways to fast-track trust.

A few of you are probably saying to yourselves, “If trust is so important, how do I get it from strangers? I can’t force them to believe I am trustworthy. Can a person really fast-track trust?”

And the answer is, "Yes, you can actually fast-track trust. In fact, people do it all the time."

If you've ever had to jump into a stranger's car (Uber) or sleep in a stranger's home (Airbnb), you've had to make a decision based on trust. Trust in a logo on the front of a car. Trust in quality control checks. Trust in reviews...

And what I’m about to tell you is really important and I would like to ask that you consider it and take it seriously and with healthy doses of responsibility and respect.

Researchers in trust and human behavior, like the impressive Rachel Botsman, have shared much on the subject of trust.

Botsman says that trust and confidence are like brother and sister and that for organizations to bring a new product or service to the masses in a way that they trust, that it has to have an air of familiarity so that people feel more confident in it and so that the familiarity of doing something or experiencing something similar will be enough to help them make a “trust leap” and give the product or service a chance.

But to fast-track trust with a group of people, you need to also demonstrate they can trust in you.

How can YOU imbue your communications with trustworthiness and get to the good stuff with your community? In this video, I share 3 ways you can fast-track trust.

What other ways can you think of? Please leave your examples in the comments below!
