You may recognize April Hernandez Castillo from her many roles on the big and small screen, like Freedom Writers, Law & Order or Dexter. You will definitely never forget her once you’ve heard her speak. 

As a survivor of domestic violence, she has become spokeswoman for the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence and a nationally recognized activist and social entrepreneur.
