Queen Diva is a Caribbean/French American Singer, Songwriter, and Entrepreneur born in (Jamaica) Queens, NY, yet raised in Houston, TX, is an award-winning vocalist who is most often compared to Jill Scott, Jennifer Hudson, and Whitney Houston. From her humble beginnings singing in the hallways of an HBCU music department in Prairie View, Texas where she nurtured her signature five-octave range, to singing on Broadway, Queen Divaβs influences are heavily rooted from R&B/Soul, Blues, and Jazz. She was classically trained and received her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts in Voice with a Minor in Fashion Merchandising & Design at Prairie View A&M University College of Arts & Sciences. She recently graduated Magna Cum Laude (3.75 GPA) with an Executive MBA from Prairie View A&M University College of Business in December 2021. She also was granted a Doctor of Divinity (Honoris Causa) from the Omega Bible Institute and Seminary in Monroe, LA for her 30 years of service as a Psalmist, Recording Artist, and Empowerment Teacher.
