Queen Diva is a Caribbean/French American Singer, Songwriter, and Entrepreneur born in (Jamaica) Queens, NY, yet raised in Houston, TX, is an award-winning vocalist who is most often compared to Jill Scott, Jennifer Hudson, and Whitney Houston. From her humble beginnings singing in the hallways of an HBCU music department in Prairie View, Texas where she nurtured her signature five-octave range, to singing on Broadway, Queen Diva’s influences are heavily rooted from R&B/Soul, Blues, and Jazz. She was classically trained and received her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts in Voice with a Minor in Fashion Merchandising & Design at Prairie View A&M University College of Arts & Sciences. She recently graduated Magna Cum Laude (3.75 GPA) with an Executive MBA from Prairie View A&M University College of Business in December 2021. She also was granted a Doctor of Divinity (Honoris Causa) from the Omega Bible Institute and Seminary in Monroe, LA for her 30 years of service as a Psalmist, Recording Artist, and Empowerment Teacher.

This year Queen Diva celebrates 30 years in the music industry and is on a mission to share with the world music to promote healing, unity, and peace. She has worked alongside Stellar award-winning artists such as Kurt Carr & the Kurt Carr Singers, James Fortune & FIYA, Kathy Taylor, Donald Lawrence, Jonathan Nelson, Shari Jones-Moffet, as well as R&B/Soul/Dance artists such as Terry Ellis of EnVogue, Di Reed formerly of JADE, Jaime Foxx, Mike Phillips, Reina, and Melonie Daniels. Queen Diva has performed at Sullivan Hall, Metropolitan Room, Feinstein’s/54 Below, Beaumont Theater in Lincoln Center, The Triad Theater, Apollo Theater, Yotel Hotel, Club Iguana, Village Underground, Shrine World Music Venue, and Ashford & Simpson’s The Sugar Bar.

She is presently promoting her first R&B 90’s flavored single “Is U In” on Divine Voices Music Group with her first virtual and face to face “Is U In” World Tour 2021-2022.
