💡 When You Pour Into Children, They Build Futures
I didn’t know what to expect when I first heard my daughter Gloriana would be traveling to Talladega, Alabama with her school’s engineering team.
I knew they were building a car.
I knew it was serious.
But I didn’t realize I’d be witnessing the future of education take the wheel—literally.
What these students from Malesus STEM Innovation Center accomplished wasn’t just a win on the racetrack.
It was a wake-up call—a reminder of what becomes possible when we invest in our children not just with money, but with belief.
They designed. They engineered. They coded.
And they raced their way to First Place in the 2025 F24 Intermediate Stock Division.
But this moment wasn’t just about speed.
It was about vision—and the people who dared to dream it into existence.
🛠️ This Is What Community Looks Like
Programs like this don’t just happen.
They are built—by directors, teachers, and sponsors who believe deeply in our children and act on that belief with purpose.
The Malesus STEM Innovation Center is proof of what’s possible when grassroots leadership meets unwavering community commitment.
Because of them, middle school students in Jackson, Tennessee are mastering:
-
Robotics
-
Mechatronics
-
Real-world problem-solving
before most even get the chance.
Because of them, our children are being prepared not just for the classroom—but for the world.
And when we invest in youth with intention and love, we don’t just create better students—
we help raise changemakers.
📚 STEM vs. The Traditional Model
In too many schools, kids are still sitting in windowless rooms, learning by rote, at the same pace, in the same way—expected to memorize instead of master.
We’ve created a system that stifles creativity, suppresses individuality, and overlooks real-world skill-building.

💜 A Mother’s Gratitude
As a mother and a member of this community, I can’t fully express the depth of my gratitude for the Malesus STEM Innovation Center.
In a time when education often feels out of touch with the real world, this school is breaking the mold.
Everyone there is so warm, so personable—and they truly make you feel like family.
They’ve loved on my babies and poured into them in ways that are hard to put into words.
You can tell this is more than a job to them—it’s a mission.
A sacred one.
They are a beacon of light in Jackson, and I am so blessed that my children get to experience it.
Thank you for believing in our kids.
Thank you for creating something different.
I honor your sacrifice.
And I will always be one of your loudest supporters.
