Alien: Resurrection (w/ Brian Vincent Rhodes)

This is, by far, our Frenchest episode yet! Writer, director, and animator Brian Vincent Rhodes joins the pod to discuss Jean-Pierre Jeunet's gooey mid-90's classic, Alien: Resurrection!

If you haven't seen the movie, you are missing out on a whole bunch of French weirdness. The KY jelly budget on this thing must have been through the roof!

Here's the official synopsis of this classic film:

"Ripley died in the last movie but thanks to poorly explained science, she's BACK! And so is the alien queen that was living inside her. It's now the way, way future and Ripley is also half-alien now? Robot Winona Ryder shows up with a gang of space pirates hell-bent on...collecting guns..or something? They all team up and go for a swim among other fanciful events before finally facing off with THE NEWBORN, a half alien/human hybrid bred from Ripley writhing around in a bed of aliens and goo. Did we MENTION HOW FRENCH THIS MOVIE IS??!"
