Good news, Swearing is good for you PLUS Scruff the border collie has great recycling game

0:02 I'm Johnny Mack with five good news stories. You know who's getting it done. Scruff, the border collie. Scruff has become an unlikely recycling advocate after picking up more than one thousand littered plastic bottles. I got to talk to my dogs and tell them to step it up. Scruff likes to pick up the bottles and play with them for a little bit before delivering them to his humans to be recycled. Scruff is thirteen now and he used to enjoy stick fetching and then the vent said he's getting scratched on the inside of his mouth wanting to try something plastic. His humans said, this is a focus a job for him. He's a border collige, so he loves to retrieve and collect different things and stuff like that. The human and Scruff go on two walks a day, one long walk in the morning, usually between three and four miles wow, then a shorter mile or so in the evening. Originally they will let Scruff play with the bottles and they left them there. Then they felt bad thought people might think we were leaving them there, so they started picking them up and keeping track and sharing their monthly report with the hashtag Scruff's bottle patrol, and they have a rule. They only pick up the bottles that Scruff sees. So if the human sees a bottle there and the dog doesn't see it, that bottle's not going anywhere. We were just curious to see how many he could collect. In November alone, Scruff picked up one hundred and four bottles. Even though he's thirteen. He looks absolutely fantastic.

I know it could be difficult, but everything in life has its ups and downs. Congratulation's choice. Max Cheveva Tanko had played hockey with Tyler Hess in summer camps. Max is part of a group from Ukraine.

First responders have rescued an eagle impaled by a lightning rod a top one hundred and twenty foot radio tower at Saint George Elementary in mclenney, Florida. Oh No, an eagle got stuck at the top of the tower. The authorities realized someone would need to go to the top of the tower to help the eagle. Crews headed out to the tower, cut a hole in the fence, then one up one hundred feet into the tower. The eagles found an obvious distress, but they were able to get him. New research shows that swearing can make you happier, fitter, I don't know that, more resistant to pain, and can increase your attention in memory. Yeah. The effects can include a range of psychological, cognitive, and emotional consequences. Now I'm regretting that I made this podcast clean. I could lose some weight. In a study, subjects who let rip with swear words were able to keep their hands in a bucket of ice water for longer than non swears. Yeah, I'll believe that one chanting a swear word was also shown to increase muscle performance during physical exercise. Messages with swearing in them was seen as more genuine than those without. Remember with your swearing context is key.
